Ben, I want to thank you for taking the time to bring your concern to our attention. The 2010 Toyota Camry you saw posted on our website stated: “This vehicle is being sold As Is - No Warranty. Please ask to see our service repair order and inspection report. No opinion is offered, and no responsibility will be accepted by Westside Toyota for defects or condition. We have performed a limited inspection, and this does NOT imply or infer a warranty or guarantee. It is your responsibility to identify any mechanical issues prior to delivery. We strongly suggest a pre-purchase inspection by an independent mechanic of your choosing prior to purchase.” Although you test-drove the vehicle and were confident in your decision to buy, you chose not to have a pre-purchase inspection performed. "As is" when buying a car means you are purchasing the vehicle in its current condition, with all its faults, known or unknown, and with no warranty. The seller is not responsible for any repairs, defects, or issues that arise after you take possession. Please accept our apologies for any misunderstanding. Bradley - We appreciate your feedback, though we are disappointed in losing 2 stars for CarFax’s reporting error … We verified that the mileage and services performed are correct (19,686 and Inspection performed, Alignment checked, Maintenance inspection completed, Alignment performed, Brakes checked, Carpet protection installed, Oil and filter changed, Tires rotated, Vehicle washed/detailed) … We understand that the date CarFax posted on 4/30 is incorrect, that your service was actually performed on 4/25 (which is what Toyota shows on their National Service History) … Unfortunately we have no control of how or when CarFax posts the information we provide them. If you scroll down to page 5 of the report, you’ll find the following statement: “Have Questions? Consumers, please visit our Help Center at www.carfax.com.” where you can request a correction/update … Both Toyota’s and our records show the correct date. Hi Kendyl, My truck lease is up in three months and when I turn my truck in, I’m moving onto another dealership that is willing to work with me. The service that I received from Westside Toyota was unacceptable, and the service manager was horrible to deal with.
