Purchasing a Used Vehicle I was very pleased with my experience at Sunnyside Toyota. I found a used vehicle I was interested in and was greeted by Maria who was a great help. She was very courteous and I didn't feel any pressure talking to her. Maria was very informative. She showed me the vehicle, answered all the questions, was patient with me, and also went for the test drive with me. She worked with me to get the best deal she could and I was very pleased with that. I was very much at ease because everything seem to go so smoothly. I also had a very good experience with Jordon. He was also very courteous, informative, and upfront about everything he had to tell me. They made everything seem so simple.In a short time I was an owner of a (new) used vehicle. Super job!!!! Two of them needed to be replaced and I received a call explaining the cost of the repair before it was completed. I received another call once the repair was complete. Since I take my car to Sunnyside for all repairs, I was able to use points for a free loaner car for the day. More

Most Recent Experience Not as Good as Others I recently took my car in for regular maintenance. I dropped it off, was told it would take 2-4 hours, and was shuttled back to my apartment. At aroun I recently took my car in for regular maintenance. I dropped it off, was told it would take 2-4 hours, and was shuttled back to my apartment. At around 5 pm, I still haven't received a call notifying me that my car is ready, so I call the service department. They said my car was ready and that they had left a voicemail for me saying so. I didn't receive any calls or voicemails during that time, so a wrong number must have been called. My husband took me to pick up my car, and when I arrived, I was told that my cabin air filter needed replaced but that they hadn't done it because I hadn't answered my phone (I should note that this information was not relayed to me on the phone when I called). I explained that I never received a call or a voicemail, and I doubled checked that the number they had on file was mine (it was). I waited another ten minutes while the cabin filter was replaced, then returned to my car to find a car part sitting in my passenger seat. I went back inside and brought the part with me. A mechanic came back out and presumably reinstalled the part. The experience of waiting for four hours for my car to be ready was inconvenient, but that's not why I am writing this review. I'm annoyed that I wasn't given an apology for the miscommunication. When I said I didn't receive a call or voicemail, no one suggested that maybe the service department had made a mistake and misdialed. I felt like it was my fault somehow, even though a triple checked my missed calls and messages. Also, leaving a car part on the passenger seat was probably just a one-time silly mistake, but it makes me wonder if other mistakes are being made that I can't see. However, I do appreciate that the mechanic apologized for that particular inconvenience. I'm not sure if I'll be taking my car back to Sunnyside for my next maintenance. If I do, I hope that the customer service is a little better. More
