The Whitaker Buick Company started business in 1954 on University Avenue in St. Paul. At just 30 years old, founder Bill Whitaker was among the youngest GM dealers in the country. His attention to personal service and emphasis on integrity led to sales and service leadership for the Buick brand in the Greater St. Paul/Minneapolis area and beyond. With the departure of dealerships from the crowded confines of inner city locations, current President Steve Whitaker moved its operation to FOREST LAKE in 2006.

Jerry was our salesman and he went WAY above and beyond for us. When I wasn't sure when we could get my son up to see a car because he is a college student in St. Paul, Jerry volunteered to drive the car f for us. When I wasn't sure when we could get my son up to see a car because he is a college student in St. Paul, Jerry volunteered to drive the car from Forest Lake to St. Paul, so my son could test drive it! Talk about service. He was very cooperative about getting some repairs done at cost and splitting the price with us. The car was priced very fairly and was in excellent condition. There were none of those "games" with the salesmanager that you encounter so many places. Everyone was friendly and didn't try to sell us anything extra. I plan to take my daughter to Whitaker and work with Jerry to find her a car as well. I heartily recommend Whitaker! They are fair, friendly, and easy to work with. More
