Honesty matters I drove in to get my brakes replaced before winter. Months ago when I had my tires rotated I was told my brakes were at a 4 and when they get to a 3 i I drove in to get my brakes replaced before winter. Months ago when I had my tires rotated I was told my brakes were at a 4 and when they get to a 3 it’s time for replacement. So, since it was a few months ago, I was pretty sure it was time. As it turns out, my brakes were at a 6! Wow! The young man who had rated it at 4 was new and green and had mis-diagnosed the reading. Since I had no idea, they could have replaced the brakes and I wouldn’t have been aware of this! Instead, they came back to me, and told me there was no cost to me, because my brakes were still good. HONESTY MATTERS! This has been my observation in my short time of working with Matt Hanson at White Bear Subaru! Matt's my “service advisor”! More

Diagnose rear wheel bearing noise on Outback I needed confirmation that the rear wheel bearing were going bad. Quoted price to diagnose this was a bit high but reasonable. They diagnosed it in un I needed confirmation that the rear wheel bearing were going bad. Quoted price to diagnose this was a bit high but reasonable. They diagnosed it in under an hour as the rear wheel bearings AND reduced the price to diagnose by 1/3. I picked up a couple of rear hub assemblies and changed them out over the weekend and I have a quite ride now. Next time I'll have the dealership do the work as the hub replacement took a lot of time. More

Over Priced oil change In this day, to charge $100-$120 for an oil change and tire rotation is out of line. Plus I had to sit there for a 1-1/2., I had a 9:00am appoitment. I love my Subaru, and I had a good experience with my sales rep. but I will not ever bring it in to the dealership for service again. The employees were nice, and friendly. More
