Free oil change I bought a new Subaru Impreza in March and it was due for an oil change at 3000. AC repair on late model I had the AC repaired on my 2000 3.2TL. Dropped the car off on Saturday for Monday morning service. They found and replaced a damaged o-ring, recharg I had the AC repaired on my 2000 3.2TL. Dropped the car off on Saturday for Monday morning service. If Lack of Follow=>Poor Customer Service-> Ask for Mgr Prior visit-told car needed specific repair; Return visit for the service before an out of town excursion, thinking 13 days would be plenty of time Prior visit-told car needed specific repair; Return visit for the service before an out of town excursion, thinking 13 days would be plenty of time to get it ready. Told part must be ordered; okay, email me when part has arrived, sure thing we can email you. 8 days later and still no email, so I called wondering what was taking so long; after connecting to service line, then parts desk, then appointment desk, then back to parts. In fact the ordered part arrived 5 days ago and now the service center is booked up and they can't get me in for days. I took the word of the front line staff. Their lack of follow through meant the car would not be ready in time. However the next day, I was contacted, offering to fit me in to the schedule earlier, before my trip. I should have bypassed the frontline staff and should have required speaking to a service manage rather than following their service phone prompts. They did get me in an they did make the repair. The quality and confidence I have in their repair work ensures I will return again. And if I experience bad service in the future, I will immediately require speaking to the the manager and will not spend any time with the front end staff (who apparently are not trusted to vary from their set script). More
