Having hood repainted Nena & Donovan handled my issue promptly and in an exemplary way. A loaner car was provided and my Outback was transferred to General Mgr John K. John called and talked to me about the painting process and answered all my questions. He was courteous & professional. I was very pleased with the painting and replacement of my 3M paint protector shield. We are throughly satisfied with the dealership & its "above & beyond" employees! 5 times and still no fix My frustration with this dealership and Acura are at a all time high. The major issues on my 2019 Acura RDX started back in March. I have had my vehic My frustration with this dealership and Acura are at a all time high. The major issues on my 2019 Acura RDX started back in March. I have had my vehicle serviced over 5 times for the same issue. They loved to say "Oh we have never heard of issues with the infotainment center" however there was over 80 complaints online and a class action lawsuit. Then when I told this service center that my brakes automatically come to a screeching halt when going over 65mph, one of the techs looked at me and said "a car does usually stop when you put your foot on the break." Such a condescending response! This is an issue that will end up killing either myself or someone else. When I mentioned that my brakes make a squealing high pitched sound, they said "yes, they all do. There is no fix for that." WHAT!?! Every time it is in the shop, all I ever get is "sorry but we can't duplicate the issue". My Infotainment screen was solid black for over 45 days. After White Bear and another Acura dealer kept just hitting reset on the system, it would work about a day. Finally I told White Bear Lake that they were not to reset my system and needed to actually fix the issue, they installed a whole new screen. It finally works, but why did it take them that long?!? 45 days of no navigation, no Bluetooth, no radio, etc. I can't wrap my head around if Acura is the issue or if the individual dealerships are the issue. I get emails from Donovan Brummond, Service Director that say not to leave a review unless everything was perfect. Well, I did email them in March and never heard anything back. So here is my honest and truthful review. Acura is horrible and I am absolutely shocked at how White Bear Lake takes care of their customers. This is the LAST time I will ever deal with White Bear Lake and definitely the last Acura I every buy! More
Did a poor job on a simple oil change. I took my new Subaru Ascent in for its first oil change. After I picked it up, I drove about 20 miles and noticed a strong oil smell. Thinking that they must have spilled oil on the engine, I put the car in in the garage and popped the hood. There was synthetic oil EVERYWHERE in the engine compartment and on my garage floor. They had failed to replace the oil filler cap. I returned the car to the dealership and waited two hours while they topped off the oil, replaced the cap, and cleaned the engine compartment. It was simple human error, but this lack of attention to detail does not inspire confidence. More
