Too pushy for service work on a recall appointment. On a factory recall only appointment, the service tech said that he 'had to' perform a preventive maintenance check even though that was not part of o On a factory recall only appointment, the service tech said that he 'had to' perform a preventive maintenance check even though that was not part of our understanding, request or purpose for the appointment. Later he came out with the cabin filter and indicated that it should be replaced. No courtesy suggestion was made that if we had an established repair shop we should make a price comparison, as that would have obviously defeated the purpose of the 'mandatory' preventive check. Then, on the invoice, it was stated that the work was done as 'per customer request'. That phrasing on the invoice was playing with semantics and was disingenuous as the entire repair sequence was initiated by the tech. After we bought the Forester, and were shown how wonderful the 'shop' was, we mentioned that because of our experience with dealership 'shops' in the past, we already had an established 'shop'. This experience only reinforced that decision. More

First time being serviced at White Bear Suburu I had a few recalls that was done with excellence from setting up the appointment, starting the work on time, the complimentary checkup, having a rent I had a few recalls that was done with excellence from setting up the appointment, starting the work on time, the complimentary checkup, having a rental car set aside for me, the complimentary car wash, to getting me back in my car. Nena is a wonderful representative for this company! She is friendly, positive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Frankly, I have never had this level of service with any other car companies. I will be back!! More

Amazing Service So walked in with a couple of problems (broken windshield, oil change, defective amp, and defective tire) and I was helped through the entire process. Great Service I scheduled an appointment to have spark plugs replaced, valves adjusted and the oil changed on my Acura ILX. The scheduler did a great job setting u I scheduled an appointment to have spark plugs replaced, valves adjusted and the oil changed on my Acura ILX. The scheduler did a great job setting up my appointment and let me know that the service would take about 2 to 3 hours, so I opted for a loaner car. When I arrived at my scheduled time on a Friday morning, James had my paperwork ready and let me know that my loaner car would be a new ILX. I requested an RDX or an MDX instead because my next car will likely be an SUV. James was able to accommodate me with a very nice, new MDX. He also let me know that they were short on service techs that day and asked me if it would be ok to keep my car over the weekend and I could drive the loaner MDX over the weekend. That was fine with me! Service was completed on Monday and I picked up my car Monday afternoon. It was a great experience! More
