Maybe it’s the red shirts they wear at White River Toyota, but to me Lincoln Newton is like the “Jake from State Farm” of car salesmen. You get such amazing customer service from him, you think there Toyota, but to me Lincoln Newton is like the “Jake from State Farm” of car salesmen. You get such amazing customer service from him, you think there is no way he does this for everyone. Of course, in reality I’m sure he does. My experience with Lincoln was by the far the best one I have had purchasing a car. (I bought my first new car in 1980 and have traded, on the average, every three years, so I have quite a few experiences to compare this one to.) Lincoln is knowledgeable, efficient, easy going, and personable. He asks the right questions to help you get what you are looking for. (I was trying to decide between two different models - RAV 4 Hybrid and Venza - and he pointed out things to think about that we probably never would have thought of.) He explains things well, but if you need it explained again, he does so in a cheerful and patient manner. However, the thing I appreciated the most about Lincoln is his authenticity. I never felt he was giving me a sales pitch. As another reviewer put it: not your stereotypical car salesman. You just get a sense that he is being himself and he really enjoys working with his customers.. I did not feel pressured in any way. Even when it took me forever to just figure out which model I wanted (Finally decided on the RAV). I would (and will) recommend him to my friends, family and complete strangers. Should also include some feedback to Marty Adams (finance) and Kelly Morisette (sales manager) who were also very professional, personable and helpful. The whole atmosphere in the WRT showroom was friendly and easy going, yet also organized and efficient. We had such a great experience we went back to buy a Sienna for my wife. I guess I need to bring Lincoln some Pizza or steaks or something! More

Lincoln is wonderful—low key, knowledgeable, patient, caring and easy to work with. I’m not sure I would have bought my Rav if it weren’t for his unusual set of skills and willingness to spend weeks find caring and easy to work with. I was really happy to work with Darrin. He knew his stuff and was patient while made my decision. He was great about responding to emails etc and usually had clear answers etc. If I had one suggestio stuff and was patient while made my decision. After a not so great experience at another Toyota dealer closer to us, we drove 1.25 hours to WRT. So worth the trip. This is not an easy time for car dealers OR buyers. We got to WRT, Darrin had the company Rav Hybrid out for me to look at. He went over everything about this car knowing we had never had a hybrid before and knowing my previous experience elsewhere. I told him what we were looking for, they had one coming in around October. Put our name on it and each week, Darrin updated me on the status. We were surprised when we got a call saying it would be here much sooner than expected! Best experience buying a car. Not pushy, straight up, honest and very knowledgeable about the vehicles.
