Never will buy a Toyota again My 4 year old Toyota needs a $2,500 repair to fix the seal on the timing belt cover. I would not have expected to have to pay about 10% of the cost o My 4 year old Toyota needs a $2,500 repair to fix the seal on the timing belt cover. I would not have expected to have to pay about 10% of the cost of a vehicle that is suppose to be reliable after only 4 years of ownership. Two auto mechanics have told me that it appears the seal was not properly attached when the car was originally assembled. Called the supposed Toyota Customer Care people and neither they nor White River Toyota were willing to offer any assistance. I am a Certified Public Accountant and guessing it would cost Toyota about $500 at most (immaterial parts costs) in labor to fix the auto, versus the fact they have lost the future sale of at least 3 brand new SUVs. I hope the 2 year old RAV4 I bought my kid holds up better. I will never buy another Toyota. More
