Purchasing a vehicle is something I take very seriously. Upon entering the dealership I had certain expectations all of which were met by the team at Folgers. Opposite of what I expected, I was not swayed or convinced to make a purchase that I was not confident with. I had previously made an appointment to meet with Bill Barber to view a 2006 Jeep Commander. On the day of our appointment, he not only made a courtesy call, but he had the vehicle detailed and ready for viewing upon my arrival. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and had the car history ready for my screening. The customer service at the dealership was stellar. The employees at Folgers really made a team effort to provide me with all of my needs. In particular, Bill showed extreme patience during my rare car buying experience. His personality made the experience enjoyable and eased my nervousness about making a purchase. The next day I called my insurance agent, only to find out that Bill had already contacted them with all of the details. My policy was already in place. Bill had also made arrangements for my trade in tag to be mailed to the DMV, saving me yet another step in the process. Steven Bell and Neil Gelbert were also invaluable. They patiently worked with my situation until we had a deal that I was comfortable with. Without their help, this deal would not have happened. Kudus to Folgers automotive for having such superior service run by a phenomenal staff. I will happily and confidently recommend this dealership to anyone seeking to purchase a vehicle. More

Our experience at Folger Subaru was the best car buying experience we've ever had. Robert Pebler was a PLEASURE to work with! Rob was amazing from start to finish. It was like working with a friend not a pushy sales person. Regarding Question #2 Above...The car was not as clean as we would have hoped. The outside looked OK (not great) and the interior front and back windows had a film on them as if they'd been cleaned with the same cloth used to wipe off the dash. If we lived closer we would have brought it back. The only other thing we feel Subaru could improve upon is being more transparent about their 63 month in lieu of 60 month finance agreements. As we live several hours away, all of our correspondence was via email regarding the price and finance offers. It was never disclosed that a 60 month loan was not available until we were face-to-face with the manager ready to sign the purchase agreement. Overall, Rob's friendly nature made this experience one we are still talking about today. We've told our story to many friends and plan to continue singing Folger Subaru AND Rob's praises! When I came to Folger Subaru I was not planning on purchasing a car from there. I was just looking around, thinking I was going to purchase a VW or BMW. I met with Jim Gamble(nicest guy, hands down) purchasing a car from there. I was just looking around, thinking I was going to purchase a VW or BMW. I met with Jim Gamble(nicest guy, hands down) after speaking with Neil(prompt and friendly) and we began talking about my trade in and what I was in the market for. I am a very satisfied customer; everyone who I dealt with were never pushy, very willing to work with my needs and requests and most importantly to me, personal and approachable. Jim is a family man and I appreciate that quality when walking into a dealership. I purchased a 2010 Forte that was a great deal to me. They go above and beyond what they need to, to ensure you are 100% satisfied. There was a scratch on my hood that they immediately had buffed out. Tom was excellent when it came to financing and I got a great monthly payment that actually freed up some money for my family. Who knew. Best car buying experience for me ever. Thanks guys!!! More
I came across a used Eclipse on Autotrader.com and went to look at it the very next day. It wasn't long after I started looking at the car before Bill Barber came out there to give me a better look at the to look at it the very next day. I was new with 5 spds so Bill offered to take me for a ride so that I could see how it drove. While riding, he explained to me a little better as to how to drive a manual car. Even though I wasn't driving I could tell that it was a smooth driving vehicle. At this point I was just looking and was not ready to make a purchase. He saw how much I liked this car and I could tell he worked hard to make sure I got it and at a very reasonable price! I didn't feel any pressure at all, he made this car buying experience extremely comfortable. I was so eager to get behind the wheel of my "new" 5 spd Eclipse. I remembered some of the tips he gave me and drove off the lot without staling and without any hiccups! He is an awesome, patient and very personable salesman! More
My experience with Folger Subaru and particularly Jim Gramble was top notch. Initially, when I went to look at Subarus, I thought I wanted a Legacy. However, I felt the Legacy was not sporty enough for Gramble was top notch. Initially, when I went to look at Subarus, I thought I wanted a Legacy. However, I felt the Legacy was not sporty enough for me. Jim suggested the WRX, and I fell in love with the car. He was also very helpful in terms of getting me the trade in price I wanted for my car, and he still gave me a good deal on the cost of my new WRX. I love the car, and I highly recommend Folger Subaru. Jim took great care to make sure my car buying experience was an efficient and easy process! More
I was very pleased with the service at folgers. I had made an appointment to see Jim at 10:00 and i got there early he was with me in no time. I would recommend that others look at there inventory and prices it was very nice. In May 2010 I took my 2001 Forester in for an oil change. Leaving the parking lot, I spotted a 2008 L. L. Bean Subaru on the lot. Jim Gamble walked over. Rick Burleson scored the touchdown, working out the final details of the deal, offering me a great trade-in value on my 2001. Charles Hedrick, proved to be a wise advisor, as well, offering on-going support and the benefit of his knowledge of my 2001 and helping me weigh the pros & cons of purchasing the 2008. Actually, Charles has been an outstanding advisor over the many years I've had my 2001 Forester served there. Overall, an excellent team! I look forward to continuing with Folger and am loving the L. L. Bean! More
Neil Gilbert is a class one act. We have purchased or leased five Subaru's since 2005. His professionalism and concern in pleasing customers goes beyond any sales associate I have dealt with. Each process in purchasing a car was hassel free and without pressure. Bill Barber was also involved in the purchase of my new vehicle and helped in making this transaction smooth by answering all questions and explaining the various features of the vehicle. As it stands now, I would return to this dealership due to these two individuals and the effort put forth in pleasing me. More
