Interesting experience. Returned from a 2500 mile road trip, then brought the car in for regular serving. Was told by the service coordinator that my tires were trashed and that all four needed replacing trip, then brought the car in for regular serving. Was told by the service coordinator that my tires were trashed and that all four needed replacing. Visually, the tread seemed fine and the tire pressure all normal. Had no idea that we were in such danger during the trip. Having nothing further to go on, I had all four replaced at a cost of $1200-plus. Otherwise everyone was courteous and responsive. R.
