I bought a leftover 2023 Ford Explorer ST on March 16, 2024. The car was a new demo with around 1300 miles from Pennsylvania. Three months later, I discovered an oil leak, as fhere was dripping oil all ov 2024. The car was a new demo with around 1300 miles from Pennsylvania. Three months later, I discovered an oil leak, as fhere was dripping oil all over my driveway. I went to the Woodbridge Ford Service Center as i live in Woodbridge, New Jersey, and it was the closest service center to me. I provided all the details about the car and the leak. They claimed they have never seen an oil leak on a car with only 3000 miles. Despite the car having full warranty, they insisted I pay 199 dollars for diagnostics and any repairs if it wasn't a manufacturing defect. They also accused the Pennsylvania dealership of making a mistake with the car and even saying i had something to do with the damage. The staff, which was only one male and female, were incredibly rude and unprofessional. They told me they were a "private dealer" so my warranty had meant nothing to them. I expected better service from a large corporation like Ford. When i refused to pay due to the fact that my car is under complete warranty, they refused to even look at the car, took my keys off the hanger and told me to leave immediately. I then contacted the PA dealer, who told me to bring the car back to them. They found that the issue was indeed a manufactering defect, and fixed up my car immediately free of charge. My experience with the Woodbridge dealer was highly dissapointing. They don't care about any sort of warranty you may have, just about getting your money. Their customer service is non-existent at this point. Avoid this place at all cost! More
