I recently bought a vehicle from this dealership. I told the salesperson from the start that I did NOT want an extended warranty. When I got into finance I told Joe (finance) no extended warranty and yes to the salesperson from the start that I did NOT want an extended warranty. When I got into finance I told Joe (finance) no extended warranty and yes to gap insurance since they are charging over msrp. He said gap is in there. He snuck the “The Mechanic” paperwork in with the rest of the paperwork and didn’t have me sign it, I’m sure because he knew I would question it. Then added the warranty plus oil changes for life to the bill of sale. So I was got charged and added into my loan $3,150 that I did not approve. A couple days later when I caught it I question the salesperson and she told me that Joe told her the extended warranty was mandatory. I then contacted a different Kia dealership and spoke to their finance manager and he told me extended warranties can NOT be mandatory. I called the warranty 800 number and got an automated response that I have to go to the selling dealership to cancel the warranty. Which I did, and dealt with a newer finance employee who took down my information. I also got Camille’s business card (GM). I sent her 2 emails and called 4 times and left my message and number with the receptionist each time. I have never received an email response or a call back. I’ve never seen a GM that is so unprofessional. BUYER BEWARE!!!! After these issues are resolved and refunded I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with the crooks ever again!!!! More
I am very disappointed in world kia of Joliet. I’ve been a customer there before it was even world kia. Anyways it’s very disorganized there. I mean for crying out loud they have you make an appointment and a customer there before it was even world kia. Anyways it’s very disorganized there. I mean for crying out loud they have you make an appointment and half the time you go in there you’re sitting there twirling your thumbs waiting for someone, first issue I have there. Second issue is the greediness! We were looking at getting a k5 looked around and they had a used one. So I inquired on it and told Shae when I would come in, I spoke to her and said I can come this day which was the same day I spoke to her had a appointment all set up to see this used k5 and someone else called me to confirm the time and vehicle. Absolutely we’ll see you soon, we get there sat there for about 15 minutes and was helped by another gentleman which is fine but why schedule an appointment with me and not be available when I get there, whatever. Anyways I told the gentleman what we were here for and he’s like ok let me see where the keys were, perfect! Comes back a few minutes later and says we’ll we don’t have that vehicle here, excuse me? I just drove from Seneca over here for this vehicle. He proceeds to tell me the owner has this vehicle for some reason. So why again schedule me to see this vehicle then. Annoyed! The gentleman said he had a EX do you want to see it, sure ok. Very nice car might I add! So I said this is nice, but what is the markup. We’ll I don’t know but I’ll ask. Comes back with a $6,000! Yes 6 grand mark up on a k5 hahah I laughed and said seriously. He said yea and they won’t negotiate it. I said ok I’ll pass. He’s like well what are you thinking? I said you told me they won’t negotiate it I said I won’t pay more than $2k over even that is ridiculous! Then the manager comes by to one low ball me on my trade but then said he’ll match my other offer but wants $6k over msrp and wants to give me the go around, yeah not working on me buddy. I am not a dummy! So needless to say the greediness is through the roof at world kia! But say this! Thank you for the recommendation on the EX because of your greediness and being disorganized you have lost a forever customer and I will never step foot into this dealership and I have now on found a new dealership that appreciates my business and will treat me right! So not even 24 hours later I have FOUND AND BOUGHT my new 2022 k5 ex with premium package with a few extra perks for $5000 less than your ridiculous price. So thank you for that. Oh and just so future customers know, these 4 and 5 star reviews are rigged. They bribe you with a gift card to leave a positive review and don’t tell you that it will be a lousy $5 gift card, couldn’t even gift you a $25 gas card or something. More

Purchased 2 vehicles from World Kia, once with Jerry and on Dec. 1 with Hatim. Very knowledgeable friendly. Felt very welcome. Got a good deal both times. Very Important. But we neglected to check the contract before signing. We love our KIA Nightfall Edition! A little concerned about most staff not wearing masks though.. More
