Absolutely the WORST experience I've ever had at a dealership. Purchased a vehicle there a year ago and it was absolutely the biggest mistake of my life. The truck "came with" additional warranties" and "care packages" that I wasn't even told about until after I signed the contract. That added a nice chunk of change to the sale price. Not to mention they messed up the initial contract and told me it would cost me even more money to buy the vehicle (after a month of owning it) this after they sold my car that I traded in. Now a year later I'm able to trade in my truck to Heritage of Tremonton ( BEST DEALERSHIP EVER!) and request a refund on the warranties and "packages" I didn't want in the first place. Spoke with the manager of the dealership to ensure I had all the proper paperwork. When I arrived to the dealership the financial advisor told me I didn't have the proper paperwork and that it would be more of a hassle for him to process the refund. I even explained that I spoke with his manager and that he told me I had all of the correct paperwork. Weeks later I still haven't gotten anything back. Needless to say I'm not surprised. Unless you like throwing away your money or selling your soul, your first born and your dignity for a vehicle that you'll inevitably be upside down in, go anywhere but here! More
The salesman we worked with was nice but they cheated us on the trade in. Salesman stated a trade in value while discussing numbers, when all was said and done they changed the numbers by $600.00. Meaning t on the trade in. Salesman stated a trade in value while discussing numbers, when all was said and done they changed the numbers by $600.00. Meaning they cheated us. When I emailed and asked about it, the salesman sent it to the GM and we have had no response. If you are looking for a new vehicle and plan to trade in. I would keep driving past Brigham. Dishonest dealership! More
Buying a car at Young Ford in Brigham City was the smoothest and nicest experience we’ve ever had with any authorized dealers around Utah. Everyone that came in contact with us was very nice, polite, smoothest and nicest experience we’ve ever had with any authorized dealers around Utah. Everyone that came in contact with us was very nice, polite, respectful, and advocated for our benefits and the best financing rate. We want to shout out especially to Dean Betz. He went over and beyond to get us the car we wanted and the best deal possible, revealing himself to be a great and professional salesman we will recommend to everyone. Nanette is a true champ and knows what she’s doing! We are delighted with the entire process and our Ford, and if we need another car in the future again, no doubt there is where we are going. Thank you! You are the best in Utah! More
Went in for a truck I saw online to see what they could do. Didn't have it so took another truck for test drive. Liked it and Dean Betz went in to see what price we could get it done for. The tag said $420 do. Didn't have it so took another truck for test drive. Liked it and Dean Betz went in to see what price we could get it done for. The tag said $42000 we had the deal worked out so I was out the door at $45000. Nooo price suddenly turned into $5000 more than what was on it. Bait and switch is totally what this dealer is about! It took me walking and going to look at other dealerships before I went back to ask more questions before the dealership finally went down to what I couldn't afford but did. I had cash and because of that it jacked the price up and alot of games before after 9 hours I got the price I needed. They are great if you finance through them but BEWARE!!! Dean Betz was an awesome salesman and worked helped me through it all. I won't go back to buy from them EVER! More
Dishonesty is their number one trait! Sadly after we spoke with the salesman on the phone twice and discussed the price of the vehicle we went in to purchased the vehicle. Upon arrival we were told that spoke with the salesman on the phone twice and discussed the price of the vehicle we went in to purchased the vehicle. Upon arrival we were told that the price of the vehicle would be $5000 higher than MSRP. They were not willing to negotiate and we’re not willing to adhere to the original agreed-upon price. We had spoken with the salesman twice before making the one and a half hour drive to the dealership but they said that there was nothing they were willing to do. Extremely disappointed in the lack of integrity. Definitely go anywhere else! More
Unfortunately had a terrible experience. Service department tried charging me for work covered under my warranty. Was forced to contact Ford Warranty department directly to resolve the issue. Young department tried charging me for work covered under my warranty. Was forced to contact Ford Warranty department directly to resolve the issue. Young Ford, Brigham City, then charged me $189.95 for the diagnosis in addition to my warranty deductible. To make matters worse, I had a scheduled appointment and they didn't start diagnosing my vehicle for 4 days. Absolutely ZERO communication. I was forced to personally go into the dealership for updates. Will never use an Young dealerships or service departments again. They absolutely do not care about their customers. More
The used vehicle I looked at Was way overpriced compared to an NADA. The sales staff were unwilling to negotiate. There were mechanical defects that were not addressed prior to taking a test drive. Issue with my Ford Explorer blowing smoke I bought my Ford Explorer at the end of 2018. I bought it from out of state and didn’t want to have to go back up there if I didn’t need to. From abou I bought my Ford Explorer at the end of 2018. I bought it from out of state and didn’t want to have to go back up there if I didn’t need to. From about the time I got it, it would blow thick blueish smoke from the exhaust. At first I thought it was just an issue that needed to work itself out since it was a new car. After the first oil change it kept doing it after I would go long distances. I took it in to Young Ford in Brigham City, UT to have them check it out. They ran it through whatever system they use and said that nothing came on the diagnostics. I started researching to see if others had similar issues. I had them look into the issue about 3 times until we had gone on another trip and it did the same thing and I had had enough. I was told if I could get a video of it then maybe we could figure it out since it wouldn’t do it usually unless I had gone a longer distance. When I took the video into them to review I was once again told that they checked everything the previous time and to keep bringing it back about every 500 miles to check the oil levels and that the smoke just looked like steam. I explained that I did not have time for that and that if I spend that much on a vehicle I expect it work properly. I also asked if they had actually looked at the head gasket and the oil levels and all the other things that it could have been. I was blown off and never got a straight answer. I was once again told that I would need to bring it in so that they could see the smoke themselves and that he could guarantee they would find the issue. I asked him what the difference was between him seeing the smoke in person vs the video I was told to get. I still didn’t get an answer. Again, I was guaranteed the issue would be fixed if I did that. I finally had enough with run around so I sent the video to the place I had originally bought it from and they said if I brought it up to them they would have a Ford Tech come out. I didn’t want to drive it all the way there so I decided to try one more place I was familiar with to see what they had to say. When I dropped it off to them they immediately sent it to Ford and had a tech come out. In 1 day they had the issue figured out and were ordering the parts to fix the oil that was pooling in the crankcase ventilation system. I will never do business with any Young Dealership but especially the one in Brigham City. I hope that Ford knows who is representing their Company. When we told them it didn’t really look great for a new car to smoke in a parking lot for other people to see we were told that Ford really doesnt care. More
