This dealership will not budge on their non-refundable deposit rule. On 11-01-22, I put down a deposit on a model, before doing my full homework on the model. (My error!) After reading many negative online reviews for the model I reserved, I called and cancelled the reservation that I had placed, before 72 hours had passed. When I asked for the return of my deposit, I was told the reason they require a non-refundable deposit, is because they then take the model off the showroom for other customers to see or buy. I understand that if the actual car was physically on the lot at that time that I reserved it. However, the car is not due for arrival to the dealership until 11-21-22. I called again to request my deposit back due to not seeing how my temporary reservation on the car had negatively impacted the dealership or future sale of the car, after only three days reserve on a yet to be delivered car. The sales manager would not even reconsider their policy, or work with me. Yes, I understand it is my error in the first place. However, I thought they would work with me….once again an error on my part. Potential buyers, please due your full homework and review of the car you are interested in, before placing a deposit, and not make the same mistake that I did. More

I took my vehicle in for 3 recalls and to make a long story short they only did two of them, I wanted them to change my transmission fluid and they didn't do that either. I took my 2017 Subaru Outback into Young for the third time to be fixed for an electrical problem. The first time, they didn't have the part to fix it. The second time, they replaced the part, but not t time to be fixed for an electrical problem. The first time, they didn't have the part to fix it. The second time, they replaced the part, but not the problem. Hesitantly, I called a third time for an appointment. This time, the gal with whom I spoke was personable. She even said this time, the diagnosis on the vehicle would be free, as it should have been found the first time. I live 80 miles from the closest dealership and I asked them to keep the car until the car was fixed. The third time must be the charm! I was called that evening with the problem being fixed. Still, I've waited 2 weeks to write this review to assure the problem was solved. The 5 Star Rating?? The better service. Parker listened to the problems I was having, recorded the problems, and the Young service followed through. There was a notable difference in the service this time. Thank you, Parker, and thank you, Young Subaru for the service. More

Unless you enjoy wasting time going in circles and jumping through hoops to get them to admit they sold you a bad vehicle, this is not the place for you. The car they sold me was faulty, took it to a private company to “fix it” and then told me it wasn’t under any warranties because Subaru didn’t fix it. I am disgusted the way they have treated me these past 4 months. More
Extremely disappointed in Young Subaru's service technicians. Because of their work, had to have vehicle towed because tech failed to connect a starter wire when replacing the starter. I was on a multi-state road trip when my "Check Engine" light in my 2019 Outback came on, and happened to be while in Ogden. I called the nearest Subaru service center which happened to be Young Subaru. Th light in my 2019 Outback came on, and happened to be while in Ogden. I called the nearest Subaru service center which happened to be Young Subaru. They worked me in immediately, first starting with diagnosing the code. Ryan Landis was my service advisor, and assured me they would work as quickly as possible to get me back on the road. The issue happened to be a failure of the oxygen sensor, and inadvertently had to replace the catalytic converter. Ryan did an outstanding job communicating me throughout the 3-hours my car was in the facility, and worked thorough getting this all covered under the manufacturer warranty. Both myself, and my dealer in Denver (Schomp Subaru) were beyond impressed with the service of Young Subaru, and Ryan's exceptional customer service. As a result, I was able to complete my 1,890 road trip photographing throughout the beautiful state of Utah! More
Unprofessional. This dealer ran me through different cars for 6 hours and then badgered me to sign on a car that I expressed doubts about. I signed because I was so hungry and tired that I couldn't think straight and was desperate. Awful customer service and all around a bad experience. Neither of the two salesmen that I was trapped with knew anything about the cars they were selling, but they do know how to make you uncomfortable and get you to buy anything. For anyone reading this review - if Jake Phippen is your salesman, walk away. Young Chevrolet has access to the same cars and at least offers exchanges if you're not happy with the car you buy. More
I sold them my truck on May 17, 2021 and they still have not paid me. Called and they said it would be another two weeks! It’s going to take them over a month to pay me for my vehicle which they took posses not paid me. Called and they said it would be another two weeks! Went in to test drive a used Crosstrek ended up driving several other vehicles that I believed to be out of my price range. Fell in love with the Forester size and wanted to see what number were out the do several other vehicles that I believed to be out of my price range. Sales guy was cool but the first Forester was 2021, after leaving the dealership asking them to run the numbers, I found the same car on the website with crossbars for cheaper. Called to ask about it and was told the only difference in the cheaper car was the crossbars and it was a 2020 not 2021 with the same features and miles. WRONG! Overall I felt this car buying process was misleading. When buying a vehicle new or used, the sticker price is for everything in and on the vehicle. Just look at the MSRP paper that breaks down the price with floormats etc. So imagine the surprise when Young comes back with the breakdown telling me the sticker price plus the cost of the clear bra they installed half of when they used it as a loaner vehicle. Refused to take off the cost (did take off $100 of the $700) and then tried to upsell the rest of the clear bra. Next a certified pre owned vehicle comes with a 100k mile powertrain warranty. However when I upgraded to the 100k mile bumper to bumper, the price was the same as if I didn't have any warranty when it should have been the difference of the powertrain and the bumper to bumper, thus adding about $3000 to the price of the vehicle. I wasn't intending to write a review positive or negative however issues continued happening. I paid to have a hitch installed and then was told wait 9 months or pay the difference of $200 which I already had paid over $500. To give the dealer credit, they did end up covering the cost after telling them I want the contract to be voided if they could not hold up their end in a reasonable manner. However when my hitch was installed they left the wiring in the spare tire well and I was told that it will just dangle from my hatch when I use it.... Found out a few weeks ago that it was not completed properly from another service tech who then scheduled me an appt to fix it. I also discovered that the 2020 Forester that I was told was identical to the 2021 did not in fact have the power liftgate or the HK speakers. Needless to say, I will most likely not purchase a car from Young Automotive again. The most positive experience I have had with them is Parker in service has provided excellent customer service and car to my vehicle when others have failed and he has had to fix their mistakes. Thank Parker you deserve an outstanding advisor award! More
