I have been bringing my Prius to Newark Toyota for over a - Steve
I have been bringing my Prius to Newark Toyota for over a decade..I have had Dave Ferguson as my contact for the last few years. He is great to work with, explains what is supposed to happen and then calls to explain any new issues and what the suggested fix and cost is. The techs take photos to show the problem. Dave always tries to help keep the cpsts down, too. Of course I still end up spending more than I expected each visit but what do you expect with a 13 year old car. I would recommend them especially Dave to any Toyota owner.
Price Toyota Service provided exceptional and HONEST - jtonyhernandez
Price Toyota Service provided exceptional and HONEST service. 2017 Camry was blowing hot air. A Wilmington mechanic shop told us that the compressor was bad and needed replacing at a price of $2700. I did my own diagnostic and identified issues with the AC sensor, AC pressure switch and irregular refrigerant. I replaced the AC sensor and scheduled Price Toyota Service to diagnose and cherge the AC system. Within several hours of dropping off the car, Price Service called me to let me know they had the AC blowing cold air. The cost was $260. Thank you Price Toyota Service for excellent service and honest assessment of the AC issue. Price Toyota demonstrated integrity unlike the mechanic shop that lied and would have repaired the AC for $2700.
Service manager called and worked out a solution. - Scott
Service manager called and worked out a solution. I appreciated the follow up so I changed the stats from 1 to 4. Service review: 1) Simple oil change and tire rotation turns into the following issues: a) overfilled oil by at least 3/4 quart (I had to drain off excess oil) b) leaking oil filter (now I have to unscrew the filter and reassemble with proper torque specs myself) c) overinflated tires (easy fix but come on) 2) Toyota skid plate (bought from them) was installed incorrectly by their “master tech.” The Toyota instructions stated one thing, yet they claim another after a phone call back to service department. I’ve spent considerable time fixing their mistakes, so tread carefully with their Toyota technicians.
