I called to schedule a recall fix. - Lanikaii
I called to schedule a recall fix. They said they have to order the parts. Easy process, they took the vin and told me it will take about a week for the parts to arrive. After the call they also scheduled me 3 weeks later. They called to let me know the parts were in. Since I was on a business trip on mainland, I had my boyfriend fly in from Maui for the appointment. Upon arrival he was told by the manager - Crystal Freitas- a very unprofessional and very rude lady, that the car doesn’t fit in their garage and they won’t fix it. I asked to speak with her asking what choices I have and apparently NONE. Since it’s a federal law to fix recalls I informed Crystal I will report this to NHTSA and her response was that she didn’t care. I asked if she realized how ridiculous this situation is since they had the vin and knew what car it was and also ordered the parts and she said she doesn’t have to listen to my abuse anymore... ?!
I tried to call several times to get in touch with Brian- the other manager, but I was told each time he is on a call or busy. I was promised a call back from him which, of course, never happened.
Very disappointed in the way they handled business and their customers and I would encourage anyone to avoid their unprofessionalism, bad service and drama by going somewhere else if possible.
I'm grateful for everyone who helped to get my jeep... - kimkaopuiki
I'm grateful for everyone who helped to get my jeep fixed. I bought a 2018 Jeep from the Tony group and they hooked me up with a day to get my jeep looked at by Lou since they couldn't service it. When I called earlier to get an appointment, the girls were great at helping me find a date to accommodate my needs too. I'm beyond grateful for all.
Signed contract on Saturday to buy a Jeep. Was told if I... - K3H2K
Signed contract on Saturday to buy a Jeep. Was told if I went with my own outside financing with a World known Credit Union the check the Credit Union pre approved me with (that I took with me from the Credit Union) would take 2 weeks to clear and take delivery of my car. They said it was to make sure that no one (me or bank) would cancel check. The check cleared and funds released to dealership in 1 day after they deposited, which was Wednesday. Now we're at Friday night and Sales Manager Juan, General Sales Manager Joe, Director of Sales Sze, and CFO Clarence are ALL saying over this past week they have a "rule/ policy" (that they can't produce in writing) stating if you don't sign a 2nd or back-up contract with them and you present your own preapproved financing they have a policy to not release your vehicle for 2 weeks to "make sure" nothing goes wrong. I was willing to wait for check to clear but now I'm at 1 week since signing contract and 3 days since Credit Union verified check has cleared and I still haven't received my car. The CFO told my legal representative I could just take back my check....What?? MY Credit Union check has CLEARED CLARENCE! Ive attempted to contact Jarrett Cutter to help him get back in touch with his company and clue him in on their TERRIBLE Sales department at Pearl City and his Director of Sales Sze Quek who told me and my legal rep. that it's a verbal rule (nothing in writing). They had a whole day to produce this policy and nothing yet. Their CFO at Cutter also can't produce this policy in writing. I have bought cars from Servco Toyota, Acura Honolulu, Nissan in the past. With all the choices on island, I attempted to take a chance at buying my 1st Jeep model ever. This will be my first and last dealing with Cutter. Never again! They have the ability to hand me my keys and car and for NO legitimate reason they want to hold on to it. Ive also been told 4 separate times this week I could pick up my car only to be told after each time that i couldn't. It has been verified the check is cashed and the small difference I had to pay out of my debit account has cleared since Saturday 1 week ago. The vehicle is fully funded and they know it. Resorting to legal help is where it's at. Don't go down this road! Please please save your time, energy and money. GO ANYWHERE but CUTTER. THEY'RE A big name company acting like a back alley pop up shop.
Krystal is the go to person over there! - Marcus Thompson-Ua
I had the awesome pleasure of working with Krystal Yago. Her knowledge of everything and above of all, her understanding of individual scenarios and situations, made me and my family feel more at ease and not ‘pressured’ or have that ‘rushed’ feeling you typically get from dealerships. I would HIGHLY recommend seeing her and I will be doing business with her again in the near future!
Fa’afetai Krystal Yago!

I had an excellent experience at Kona Auto Center! Allen C. from Sales was kind and patient and never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable. He was able to help me trade in my car from the mainland and get me into a Jeep which is way more practical for island life. I was able to get a great trade in value as well as a great deal on the Jeep. He went above and beyond to make sure the Jeep was perfect and had everything I needed. Also, Cassie in the Nissan Service Department was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and provided exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend buying from Kona Auto Center. A+ :)
