Update:. While still not pleased with a lot of my past... - matthew.fearing
Update:. While still not pleased with a lot of my past two days, at least the manager made it right. First went in for servicing and they identified a bunch of problems. (Possible). Had to come back next day for "repairs" with a quote a bit over $1500. Was staying because supposed to be 4 hours.then told after 5 hours it would be longer. Gave me a loaner for rest of afternoon. Two and a half hours later it was ready. Went in and the price was $600+more than quote. Manager reduced it to quote which is all I asked.
Don't bother making an appointment for service. - Colok9
All I needed was an oil change and tire rotation.
I made an appointment online with the service manager several days ahead who confirmed my appointment for 9am Saturday. I arrived at the dealer at about ten minutes before 9. I didn't want to be late because I had so many other things to do that day after I got my service done. I ended up sitting in the showroom talking to a very nice salesman about the new Jeep Gladiator Pickup that was not yet at the dealers to view. I looked down at my phone to check the time and realized that it was 10:45. So I excused myself and went back into the service department thinking that surely they would be done by now. To my surprise they hadn't even started yet. I was not happy when I found out that there was still one or two vehicles in front of mine still needing service. I thought to myself, why did I even bother making an appointment?
When they finally got done with my vehicle at 12:05 they tried to charge me over $80 even though I had given them a coupon for $24 when I first arrived. Okay so that took another 15 minutes to sort out but they did end up excepting my coupon and sent me on my way. At that time it was about 12:30 and so many of the things that I wanted to do that day I didn't have the time to do anymore. I felt like my whole day was wasted at the dealer trying to get a simple oil change done.
Thank you so much Allen Samuels for wasting 3 and half hours of my time on a job that I had an appointment for that should have only taken about 20-30 minutes.
BMW has the worst service department we have ever... - JReichenberger
BMW has the worst service department we have ever experienced. We took our SUV BMW in for yearly service and it came back three days later in WORSE shape that when we brought it in! We have purchased three BMWs in the last 10 years but we will not be doing this again.
When I went to pick it up, they had gashed in the back of the car with some type of tool. And then we discovered, after we got home (one hour away, that they hadn't even changed the oil!!
Great customer service! - Sarah N
They did a great job servicing my Chevy Avalanche and walking me through what was wrong and how it was repaired. Love the Jeep that I am driving now from their lot!
Recommend this service centre - Connie Shaw
During a difficult url time the service centre personnel went above and beyond the normal service. Both Jim Killough and Paul Simmons were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the service process. Great job guys. I will certainly recommend this location and will be taking my car back in the future.
Took my Chrysler 300 in for an oil change and they forgot... - bromspeeb
Took my Chrysler 300 in for an oil change and they forgot to put a bolt on resulting in the undercare shield hanging down and making an awful noise, possibly breaking it. We had no problems before our oil change. When I returned it and they replaced the bolt, they made me feel I was the one who did the damage. If the bolt was put back on in the first place, I would not have had to make the extra trip. I will go else where next oil change.
Fast and friendly help - Prairie Fire
Mike, the service manager, was excellent. I came with a small problem. I was having a hood latch issue on my '17 Tacoma. I was in and out in 25 minutes, and was very impressed with Mike's care and courtesy. Kim Kirk
Emergency Service on Transmission Cooler that became loose - Dennis Lincicum
Tim in the service department as well as the mechanic that completed the repairs went above and beyond our expectations on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend to immediately service and repair our vehicle, so that we could complete our trip across Kansas. If I lived in the area the Kranz Family Dodge would be the only dealership that I would recommend and use. Thank you for being there.

Very disappointed. 1st experience fine. 2nd experience told they dont do oil changes for walk ins on saturday but they do. 3rd experience look at door lock but no part to fix it and took 6 hours. 4th experience no call back to let me know when the part came in. 5th experience took the car back for warranty door lock and they said it would be 2 hours became an 24 hour job. 6th experience Anytime I called waited on hold for 20 plus minutes to figure out if the car was done or when I should pick it up. Would never recommend.
The reasons I will not buy from Joe Self BMW - Rhonda Wills
I leased a BMW 328i from Joe Self about 8 years ago. I had a continuing problem with the seat belt extender - the seat belt snapped off the extender every time I got in the car and tried to buckle the driver's seat belt. I went back to the dealership time after time (all while the car was under warranty) and the service department told me that it was a design defect that BMW was aware of. The seat belt extender was replaced several times - it worked for a few weeks, then the seat belt began to snap off the extender. The last time I took the car in to be fixed, the service manager told me that it was as good as it was going to get and they would not repair the car again. When the lease expired, I turned the car in and explained that I was very disappointed in the service and response. The manager I talked to at that time was very cold. I next bought a Mini from a Kansas City dealer, and then a BMW X3i from the Kansas City dealership, solely because of my bad customer service experience at Joe Self. When I recently got notice that my BMW was due for yearly service, I called Joe Self BMW dealership since I live in Wichita and asked for an appointment for service. I have to assume that Joe Self BMW is reimbursed by BMW for annual maintenance and Joe Self is not doing the annual maintenance out of the goodness of its heart. I asked for a loaner car since that is one of the advertised "perks" of Joe Self. I was abruptly told that at the direction of Mr. Self, that the dealership would not provide loaner cars to those BMW owners who did not purchase the car from dealership. I love the cars, but the dealership leaves a lot to be desired and will certainly not get my business in the future. Cannot recommend this dealership to anyone.
Not only did the brakes pads they replaced and the strut... - meverson
Not only did the brakes pads they replaced and the strut they fixed start making noises after only a few months, when I got the car back both times something else had been broken on my car and oil and dirty rags were left on the carpet. They owe me a blinker switch!
Good People - wsternks
Very helpful, easy to work with, friendly & did not feel pressured to buy. Their service department is top notch. I always take my car to Lewis to be serviced & will continue to on the car I bought from them today.
