This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. - rbholman
This was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. The salesman lied about the amount of hail damage, promised me that if I made a down payment that day he'd throw in black seat covers and a black console cover (almost 2 months later after hassling him I got one backseat cover in tan and brown), when I went in to sign paperwork they didn't get me the interest rate they promised, nor did they honor the deal that was on the paperwork I signed the day I made the down payment. I had to fight for everything that was on the paper: the maintenance plan, sealant for the doors, the hail repair, and the seat covers and completing the detail. Hours later I thought everything was on order and signed. They did not apply the sealant for the doors, they did not send me the seat and console covers, as they said. When I called to complain 7 days later that there were still stains on the seats and there was a speaker blown (Harmon Kardon) , the sales manager said he would talk to his detail guy, but I just needed to wait until I paid in my car and turn the speaker in under the warranty. Still no word on the seat covers. Now, I go to tag my car, and I find out they did not disclose the vehicle came from our of state and in order to tag it I have to pay to get an inspection. I have been waiting to buy a Subaru for years and had always heard wonderful things about Subaru dealerships. I will probably never buy another one. When I asked to see the paper I signed when I made the down payment they said they didn't have it anymore.
