Joe , my sales rep and the finance person were the best. - irvine
Joe Pelletier is wonderful, patient and knowledgeable. I’m grateful he understands both people and sales as he paired me with the perfect car. I love this car so much you probably won’t see me soon, but I hope the next purchase will be with Joe and the Darlings team.

Fantastic Sales Experience - tracyrem
Jim Fournier is a terrific human being and salesperson. I went in 2 years ago to lease a Honda HRV and his personality had me coming back to Jim to trade in my lease for another HRV. He is a no pressure kind of guy and makes you feel like you've known him forever. Not only did we talk cars, we talked about his life, my life, and laughed plenty. If you want a great experience buying a car from a great guy, go to Lee Honda and see Jim Fournier.
Excellent service - Maddyt
professional friendly and knowledgable staff associates, reliable service professional, friendly customer service, clean waiting room. I highly recommend Berlin City Auto Group, south Portland, Maine.
I was not listen to - mine
1. waited 20 plus minutes to talk with a sales representative
2. was low balled on my trade in after signing up for their guarantee of a better price at trade in when you have all of your service for the vehicle done through their service department
3. sales representative did not listen and tried to put me into a vehicle that did not meet my needs ( more extras, highest priced vehicle, wrong color)
4. sales representative stated they were unable to obtain the vehicle requested
Unequivocally Awesome! - Bill Mullen
I have previously bought 16 new cars. NEVER before did I receive the type of service that Charlie's provides, MOST notably from the sales guys that I had an extreme pleasure to deal with. I live in MA and was purchasing a new car for my son who was moving to Winthrop, Maine. My first contact was with ALAN KENNEY who right off the bat gave me what I knew was a UNBELIEVABLE DISCOUNT!! I spent many years in the new car business and recognized the discount I got on THE 2018 Honda Odyssey as HUGE. I calculated it was below invoice....In any event in addition to the supa $$, Alan communicated with me via e-mail (as he pointed out once we met at the dealership) OVER 60 TIMES! What sales person in any dealership would respond to SIXTY E-MAILS!! ?? Alan advised me and patiently answered all of my questions as the registering process is totally different in Maine vs MA. The was also NO "games" played with silly unnecessary "BS" being offered as ad-ons to the purchase like most dealers do.
The actual delivery was done by Pat Michaud who went over the cah with my son as if he was his own son buying a car for the first time. Never before did I see any sales person spend so much time explaining EVERY detail of the cah. Pat even insisted on taking my son for a "test drive". Something that you only expect when your looking to purchase a cah. Pat was spending so much time going over the car it prompted me to tell him that my son didn't need anymore assistance as he could read the manual. Pat would have nothing to do with that as he insisted on going over every detail.
The finance manager, Alex Musica was thorough and went over all the figures and you cannot beat Honda financing at 1.9% .
All-in all my experience with doing business with Charlie's and their staff was the most satisfying I have ever had. Only a month earlier I had purchased a "pricy" BMW in Ma and had gotten the run-around with all sorts of BS during the negotiations and upon delivery of a cah that cost 85K the salesman tossed the keys to me and said "here you go".
If you live within 100 miles of a Charlie's dealership when you need to purchase a car and you don 't do business with them then you are out of your mind.
Don't waste your time shopping or service - Maine30
Darlings Honda of Bangor ME will always match if not beat their pricing on vehicles. Service department that is not customer service oriented. Looking to get money from single woman who they think don't know any better. Are un-informative and refuse to ask or listen to ways to better their service or processes. General manager Todd Embelton in fact hung up on me after cutting me off in conversation and not even asking me my reason for speaking with him. He's lost a customer for good.
