I paid $5,701.37 for a Herd Aero bumper grill, professionally installed on my Peterbilt 579. The work was completed, I paid in full, and drove an hour back home--only to find the hood would not open fully because the bumper had been mounted too high. When I called Charlie, the boss, he said they'd fix it if I drove the truck back. I asked if they could send someone to me or at least compensate me for the time and cost of running a semi back to Pukwana. His response was, "That ain't gonna happen". About the failed professional install, he said "hey, these things happen". When Natalia at Herd Manufacturing followed up on my behalf to speak with C&S, she was told that the person who had taken the order wasn't working there anymore, so there was nothing C&S Truck Sales could do. The shop guy mounts it wrong, and C&S blames the guy that took the order. What makes this worse is that while I was waiting for my install, I heard Charlie tell an employee that one of his guys in the shop wasn't doing good enough work, and that he might need to start doing quality control on him. Sure enough, that's exactly what I got: poor work. Herd's operations and sales leader, Leo Nelson, told me it would be fair for C&S Truck Sales to compensate me for the extra time and expense to return with the truck, since they had already been paid to professionally install. When I brought that back to Charlie, his response was: "You sound like a real xxxxxxx." For a $5,700+ job, I expected professional work and professional treatment. Instead, I got a bad install, zero accountability, and open disrespect from the boss.

He sent me a few videos of the car upon request with no hesitation and was extremely transparent with me about everything. He stayed in contact with me the entire time until the car and title were delivered to my door. I would absolutely buy another car from here and will highly recommend Carolina Auto Imports to my friends and family. I am posting this review on multiple sites so everyone can easily see it. Long read but if you don't want to flush your hard earned money down the toilet... READ TO THE END and DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. Vengeance is mine and I will repay saith the Lord. You will not prosper when you intentionally defraud people and that's exactly what this dealership did. Owen at this dealership sold a vehicle under the pretense that nothing was wrong with it aside from the minor accident that happened but had been repaired. Once purchased, we discovered that the backup camera did not work, a cable was hanging from under the front of the vehicle, the brakes need to be replaced badly, and the entire front bumper fell off the car while being driven presenting a severe road hazard. We could've been killed and they could care less. We paid $11,788 via cashier's check and Luke at the dealership is refusing to allow me to speak with anyone other than the salesman who sold us this car. He wouldn't even provide the name of the supervisor/manager/owner only that he was unavailable. No warranty was offered upon purchase either to have anything repaired. If these things had been disclosed prior to purchase, you can say you sold this vehicle "as is" but due to nondisclosure and the dealer knowing about some of these issues prior to selling the vehicle, this is a case of fraudulent misrepresentation and failure to disclose. DO NOT PURCHASE A STICK OF GUM FROM THESE PEOPLE. THIS DEALERSHIP DESERVES TO BE SHUT DOWN AND I'm going to do everything that I can to make that happen. See photos of the vehicle as advertised and see the vehicle as purchased. Should've known when we test drove and the inside smelled like an ashtray and the passenger front seat was ripped to shreds. Edit: Malik is their so called sales manager. All he does is talk over you and notify you that anything that is wrong is on the dealership's part. He threatens to involve lawyers. I will say this... I am taking a loss just like so many others by dealing with this trifling and deceptive dealership and unfortunately the law in NC protects all shiesty dealerships and leaves the consumers to hold the bag, but there will be repercussions to anyone who purposely deceives others. Malik is banking on people saying that these reviews that have been posted are from people that actually have never purchased a vehicle from the dealership or just angry people, but I beg to differ. If everyone is saying the same thing about their experience with a particular company or individual, TAKE HEED... THERE IS SOME TRUTH THERE. Never mentioned a warranty 1 time but has you sign paperwork declining warranty to cover their own behinds.. I'm also waiting for this company or one of their affiliates to file a false negative review against my company since I've filed a truthful one for theirs.

Initially, I thought I was dealing with an honest car dealer who delivers anywhere in the country. Sight unseen, we agreed on pricing for the truck I wanted and the truck I had to trade. We exchanged photos, videos, etc. I was told the truck was in excellent condition - which it should be from a dealer and at a cost of $64K. Upon delivery there was a tick in the engine and the next morning the engine light came on. I called the dealer and no one called me back, I called again and was told that they would get back to me at 10am Monday... never called back. Meanwhile I took it to a local dealer and the engine light indicated the motor was blown. Luckily it was under a factory warranty. Upon complaining to the BBB in Raleigh, they said - It was in excellent condition, we will call you back. And... they still have never called me about this. Buyer beware in dealing with this dealership. Their sales manager nor their owner wouldn't even call me back. It took a month to get the new motor installed by my local RAM dealer. Either the iDeal Auto sales team and owner is dishonest or their shop that "fully inspected" the vehicle is incompetent.

I am no longer in the car business and do not live in the Greenville area . I have bought several cars from Grant over the years and have had excellent service out of all. Grant is not a mechanic ,but he is very knowledgeable about what to look for in a good used car . He would send every car to the same outside mechanic to have the cars looked at before they went on the lot . mechanical things break down even in new cars . buy a car with warranty if you do not want to be hassled by nit picky problems. most of his cars will have factory warranty anyway. They deal in quality.

Looked at a Camry, the bank wouldn't approve it to many miles, looked at a newer Toyota got approved. It pulls to the left. All the tires were low and theres black sticky stuff all over the inside back glass. Cracked taillight hole in front bumper spider web from impact in rear bumper and still cost $17,000.. just be aware of what your getting into.

I spent as much time researching local dealerships as I did searching for a replacement vehicle for my recent car purchase. 100's of verified purchase reviews, BBB reviews and complaints as well as car sales platforms had endless horror stories of engine failures, added costs and mechanical problems less than 30 days after purchase. I even expanded my search to Charlotte and Raleigh but still had issues with less than steller reviews. A good looking car at an attractive price online can still lead to Buyer's Remorse with the wrong dealership. Balkcum Auto Sales was the only dealership that passed the review test with flying colors. So, after an exhaustive 6 week search I ended up back at Balkcum and purchased a beautiful Mercedes-Benz E 350 Sedan in pristine condition. Don't believe these positive internet reviews - they are fake. Bob Dunn Hyundai is full of crooks. Worst experience EVER. I have had my share of car buying experiences, and some are good, some are bad, but you cant expect it all to be perfect. But I can assure you THIS IS THE WORST. They will nickle and dime you and keep HARASSING you until you die (verbatim what I was told from Lee himself). All they care about is their pockets. PLEASE STAY AWAY. They are the rudest, most unprofessional and insensitive "business people" on the planet. I can not believe Hyundai allows them to still be in business! Chris, at High Country Truck and Van, helped my son and myself decide on and purchase a truck for my son. He described each detail of the truck we were interested in clearly to me so that I could phone and tell my son who was at work. This didn't bother Chris. In fact, I have never experienced a more relaxed purchase of a vehicle! He was able to draw up all necessary paperwork including the bank loan before my son could join us. (Telco Community Credit Union is there on site!) My son is extremely pleased with his "new" 2015 Toyota Tacoma TRD! Chris and the staff I met at High Country Truck and Van demonstrated excellent skill, knowledge and understanding of vehicles and salesmanship. My experience with Mercedes-Benz of Winston-Salem began quite well but ended up very poorly. I contacted the store for a newly listed pre-owned S550 cabriolet with under 6000 miles. As a collector, I only look for low-mileage future or current collectibles, and given the fact that this car was at a Mercedes dealer, I assumed the car had gone through a proper inspection and was ready to sell. The used car sales manager, Allie Philips, reached out early in the morning, and we concluded our deal in a bit over an hour, after she assured me the car was utterly pristine except for a minor scratch under the driver's door. I left a deposit to secure the car, while we planned to go through the vetting process in the following days since I was traveling. I must note that Allie, while being very prompt, was rather curt throughout the process, and she had little idea as to how to take care of customers of my caliber. She was also very inflexible on literally any concession I asked for, which was/is rather odd for an experienced sales manager. Anyway, the next day, after I insisted that she look underneath the car (since this was a remote buy), Allie came back with a couple of videos showing the front end of the car having had sustained heavy damage (in terms of rubbing against dips or bumps, with a torn bumper cover that was poorly fused together with plastic epoxy), and it was improperly repaired. I spent considerable time chasing up a new bumper cover and working on what it takes to repair the car promptly. I got back to her asking the dealership for sharing, at whatever possible amount, the cost of the repairs. She was again very curt and unaccommodating and did not offer a solution or compromise. I asked her to connect me to the GM of the dealership, Stewart Cooper, which she refused to do, suggesting that they had local buyers who wanted the car and pushing me to release it. I ended up reaching out to Stewart myself by the day's end since Allie stopped communicating with me. While Stewart was polite and promised to look into this late on Friday, he did not accomplish anything since he was "off" over the weekend. I learned that the car was sold to a local buyer from Stewart this morning. He offered no apology and felt like he preferred to hide behind Allie's decision not to accommodate or adequately communicate with me as a customer. I am very disappointed with my experience to this dealership and will point out again that I believe they were very unprofessional and unethical and wasted hours of my time. If you have a choice to take your business to a different dealer, I highly recommend you do so. I cannot repeat how utterly disappointed I am with the ending here.

I want to a prefix this by saying this happened at the Oxford location, not the Raleigh location. The sales person‘s name was Larry. Very nice guy. Honestly, I felt like I really connected with him. The vehicle I was looking at had a few issues that were being took care of and honestly, I was ready to buy. I just needed a sell sheet or something with a price breakdown because I was using my own financing. I called several times and even drop by to see him. I never received a call back. I had drove the vehicle to try to get the sales person to call me back to give me numbers, but I was ghosted. I ended up buying a car from a different dealership a couple days later I really hate that this didn’t work out because I like that car. If I had, a call back of any type I would have bought the vehicle.
