This was one of my favorite dealerships by far. Being... - browntown
This was one of my favorite dealerships by far. Being from Pittsburgh, I worked with Kristi through email before deciding to make the drive to State College. She was very helpful at explaining the price of the car I was looking at as well as making me confident I was going to get a fair value on my trade. When I arrived at the dealership, Kevin had the car ready and was looking out for me. Loved the experience and higher recommend it for an honest dealership.

I had a 2003 Mazda MPV in 3 times for service. The van isn't bad, 2 visits were warranty work and one was body shop.
Each time I picked up the car, on THEIR schedule!, it either had parts missing or wasn't put back together.
First time: Side door weatherstripping wasn't put back in and the door was closed, but the door open light was on and the window wouldn't go down.
Also, they denied warranty work on the rear A/C control module because it had been "abused" by liquid spilled on it. Guess where two of the rear cupholders are? Yes, right on top of the module. I took the rear console apart and reconnected the wiring harness. Problem FIXED!
Second time: I asked to purchase a new cabin air filter and told them that I would install it since they wanted to charge 1/2 hour + part. It only takes 5 minutes to change, and most of that time is unwrapping the filter and emptying the glovebox. They charged me to install it, and I had to go through two managers to get the charge removed.
Third Time: Had body shop work done. Let's just say that they didn't do everything that they said, and didn't even replace all of the bulbs that belong in the front end of the car.

Poor Service Dept. and Sales - 2015 M6 and M3 couple
Salesperson we dealt with originally was rather pushy, and was unable to justify why his prices were $1,000 more than a dealer in Eastern PA. He tried to make us believe their nitrogen in the tires was worth the price markup. -We aren't morons and nitrogen does nothing for someone who actually checks their tire pressures. The Eastern PA dealer who gave us the cheaper quote were accused as liar's by Murray Mazda. We bought a car from the other dealer the next week at their promised price. Also, Murray could not locate/order the car we wanted and insisted that they drive one from 400 miles away as it was the only option. Once again, the other dealership magically had one that was actually new and not 400 miles on the odo...
When I finally had to take my car in for recall related work (I do my own maintenance), I had to wait FOUR WEEKS before they could take a look at my suspension for a TSB on strut bearings. When the day finally came, the 'rental vehicle fleet' their salesmen had previously told us about was suddenly unavailable to us. I pushed for a rental anyway (as I had to schedule during the work-week) and they told me that rental vehicles were for important or lengthy repairs only. I guess suspension malfunction under warranty isn't important? Service continued to lack as they were unable to diagnose the problem even though I provided printed instructions from Mazda's TSB. and was able to duplicate the sounds 100% by simply backing up and turning. Nothing was fixed and I wasted four weeks waiting on these clowns.
The final straw which forced me to write this review was my girlfriend scheduling an oil change, since the next closest dealership had a long wait. It took them 2 hours to change her oil, lose her keys, and provide a scratchy car wash/drying which she explicitly declined. She left with a $70 charge, which is ridiculous for a standard oil change. They didn't even use Mazda's recommended synth. oil w/ moly. They used the typical bulk synthetic and charged a premium price.
To summarize, I'm glad we're moving closer to the other dealership and no longer have to rely on this place to rip us off for our money and time.
