I wanted to express my appreciation to Phil Baloga,... - rover407
I wanted to express my appreciation to Phil Baloga, Assistant Service Manager, for his warm welcome, kindness and efficiency in getting the repairs done on my Rover last week. He always makes me feel welcome and that is a good feeling. Also thanks to the tech(s) who did the repair work; all done with excellence.
I would also like to express my appreciation to Akieam McElrath for taking the time to reattach a deflector panel under the bumper, after checking me out with the cashier, in a most efficient manner. All done with new screws and now securely attached. Thank you for your kindness, smile and instant willingness to do this for me. Akieam McElrath and Phil Baloga are perfect examples of the kindness always displayed to customers by employees; they are problem solvers, all done with excellence and a smile! Sincere thanks for a job well done; you both are sincerely appreciated!

I had purchased a new Landrover Discovery 2020 in Florida. On the way north to my home, having possession less than 24 hours the engine died in Brunswick, Georgia. John, the service manager at Hilton Head Landrover was alerted the car was being towed to their dealership. We waited over 4 hours for Landrover Roadside Emergency to arrange a tow. I finally called a towing service that came to us in 15 minutes. During those four hours John expressed his concern for myself and my daughter’s welfare being stuck on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. Once we and the car arrived he took us under his wing to make sure we were comfortable. He knew EXACTLY what the problem with the car was, fortunately and easy fix. He expedited our trip interruption claim. He could not have been more thoughtful, caring and competent in the repair. I shall be ever grateful for his concern and his quick knowledge of the needed repair. Thank you, thank you!

I’ve owned my Evoque for a almost a year and a half now.I bought it new from Land Rover West Ashley. A luxury car for unbelievable money. Wouldn’t you expect great maintenance service for your money? Not with WA branch. My experience with them has been nothing but disappointment. And it’s not just an occasional, one- time bad luck , I understand anybody can screw up once in a while. But every single time I need service they mess up. This time my car needed alignment bc one of the wheels was completely worn out and I scheduled an appointment online, showed up in person the next day to make sure they got me in the system, requested a new tire by the date of my appointment, told them it’s ok if I need to pay for it. Dropped the car on Friday morning, 8:45 am as scheduled, when I asked them if they got a new tire for me they said no. All day Friday, all day Saturday..... Monday morning - still ain’t got my car back. Which is more frustrating - no text message, no call, no nothing to let me know how long it might take. It’s my only car and I think I deserve to be informed... my schedule totally messed up bc those guys don’t seem to be interested in keeping you as their client. Keep stealing my time by keeping my car for as many days as they consider possible. Service guys from regular cars I used to have did a way better job.: at least they never left me hanging...
These people in West Ashley dealership are the reason why I’m so ready to give up the car I like. Outrageous! Why should I be calling them trying to find out when my car is ready? Isn’t it supposed to be the other way in customer service? Is there any time frame for a simple service like changing one tire? Two nights, isn’t that enough for it?Absolutely absurd!
