Sales associate Cale Spafford was key in making the purchase easy and hassle free. He was tuned into what I wanted. He understood my practical needs and went out of his way to help me make my choice. Extremely professional. I personally have never had a smoother experience with a dealership ANYWHERE. I test drove a Jeep Compass and was determined to leave with that vehicle. I could tell Cale was mentally taking note of my reaction to the vehicle, my comments etc. He knew my story, what I had been driving. In the end he suggested I try a Renegade. I said no, that I was happy with the Compass, but he knew something was missing from my decision. He made a point to tell me that the Renegade was the better deal, less money and more of what I was looking for. He was right. He sacrificed selling a more expensive car for what he knew I really wanted and needed. His knowledge of not just what I looked at but everything was way above anything I have ever experienced when buying a vehicle. The whole process and everyone was super helpful and friendly.

Great Experience with New Fiat 124 Spider - CC Buyer
My wife and I went to this dealership to drive a manual transmission 124 Spider. Other dealers I went to had none. Although you might think they are disadvantaged right now because they are rebuilding the dealership on the same site and operating out of a temporary office, they do have cars located just off site. Our sales representative was Mike Hannon. After a long and pleasant test drive both with Mike and with just my wife and me, we loved how it drove but the model they had was missing a few features important to us. No hard sell to unload what he had in stock, Mike went out of his way to scour for MT cars in the region and communicated several options on Monday following up with a couple of calls. He found exactly what we wanted; we made a deposit Tuesday and by Friday the car had been shipped in and was ours. We handled some of the paperwork ahead of time by email and completed the whole purchase Friday in under an hour including another test drive. This dealership was fast, professional, friendly and proactive when needed but not over the top. The purchase experience was quick and no-nonesense -- no supplemental dealer sticker adding unwanted things to the price and no attempt to add items to the sale at the close. Mike is a great sales rep! He knew his product, respected my time, found what we wanted and got it in quickly at a great price. I would definitely recommend this dealership!

Had 2 nearly back to back visits at the service dept of Safford of Fredericksburg location. One for a routine oil change and the second for a recall to be taken care of. Was able to get a same day Saturday appt. The 2nd visit was told I'd probably wait a few hours because one Fiat tech working. But to my surprise, my car was ready in about 45min. Great service both times. They also let me know of other maintenance that needs to be done and tires needing to be replaced.
It seems to be a very busy service dept. But all the employees are very efficient and non stop moving. Looks to be very organized.
False advertising of sales discounts: added inflated fees - Nakaso
Was seriously considering trading in my over-sized 6-month old new premium Raptor for an Alfa Romeo SUV. After a hearty negotiation with the general manager we reached an amicable trade-in amount. Once the paperwork was produced for the new Alfa Romeo I was surprised to learn that 64.1% of the advertised $7,656 sales discounts on their website were removed, and two outrageous fees were added a transfer fee for $995, and a highly inflated $699 dealer processing fee. After a long negotiating amicable dialogue the manager reinstated the full sales discounts, but we still had the two added surprise fees. He finally removed only $500 off both added fees and I was seconds away from leaving with the new car and had already applied for an immediate loan from my bank online. Only for the manager, out of the blue, to rudely state that "he hoped I would not accept the deal because he didn't wish to do business with people like me". Needless to say I granted him his wish and kept my luxury new truck, at his loss of a customer. Bad sales manners and horrible customer service etiquette. Stay Away from this dealer!!!!
GREEDY General Manager named Nate - JohnFord
The sales manager Nate is GREEDY, ARROGANT and lacks people skills. He called me on my phone and sounded very rude. Basically , he was scolding me for asking $200 discount to the list price. He didnt care about customer relationship, all he wanted was "pay the list price or go to xxxx".
AVOID this dealer at any price.

Recently purchased a 2015 Abarth. Since I lived hours away, I had to search inventory, deal on purchase price and trade-in all via email. This was the first time I actually worked a trade-in deal through email. I worked with Silva and he was excellent - friendly, straightforward and very responsive. He was also trustworthy as the deal he gave me (both new car price and trade-in) via email was already written up when I arrived. All I needed to do was test drive and sign paperwork. We were in and out in under an hour. The Abarth's they had in stock were really well chosen. The options included really personalized the cars and they were careful not to add superfluous details that inflate the cost. I would highly recommend Fiat of Alexandria and especially Silva. He is knowledgeable and easy to deal with; both in person and especially via email. Dino the new GM was also a pleasure to deal with in this purchase.

Lawrence was very helpful and I am glad I bought my car at Southern! He was friendly and knew more than the other local dealer about the car I was looking at (Fiat 500). He let me head out and test drive the car alone, which I appreciated- as at the other dealer my husband had to squish in the backseat while the salesman rode up front (?!).
Lawrence was new to car sales when I bought my car, but had a genuine honesty about helping me get what I wanted in a car. I appreciate that so much!
Southern offers a free oil change for the life of the vehicle, and Lawrence was so helpful with all the aspects of buying a new car.

I just purchased a 2009 Buick Enclave CXL from Whitten Bros. I saw the car on Autotrader.com and contacted the dealership through email. Gillian was who responded to me, and happily answered all of my questions and inquiries very promptly. I live 500+ miles from their dealership so I had a lot of questions for her! By the time I made an offer I was very confident that they were treating me fairly and honestly. My flight down to get the car was delayed and rerouted leading to me getting into Richmond as the dealership was closing. Gillian was in contact with me the whole time and ultimately picked me up at the Hotel the next morning and brought me to the dealership! There I dealt with Howard and once again was impressed with the level of service I received. Overall a great experience for my first long distance car purchase. Would definitely do it all again with this dealership.
