Bait and Lie - HeadForFife
Was notified that because I am a loyal Acura customer (loyal since 1997) I was entitled to a special offer to exchange my 2017 leased RDX (Leased from Acura Bellevue) for a new 2020 RDX.
I would receive $1,000 + no disposition fee $350.
When I responded the sales person called me back.
I told them I was only interested in a no-down and close to my current payment deal.
They told me that they would be able to work a deal and we agreed to meet at the dealer at 11am Sunday morning.
When I arrived no one knew about the scheduled meeting. The sales manager passed me on to the next available salesperson. He told me they would never be able to meet the same payment (currently $403) and that since I leased my car (Dec 2017) the interest rates have increased so the payment would be $560 with $3600 due at signing.
What a waste of time! In 2017 I worked with Tom Matsen who left the company to move out of state.
Wow, what a departure of true customer service and forthrightness. Basic lack of honesty.
Car Service - Not Happy
Called to make an appointment for service on my MDX. (2nd MDX bought here) yesterday morning. Spoke with KYLE in service and told him I needed the oil changed, a lower fog light was out and needed replaced, my lighter wasn’t working for my charger, and I needed a new gas cap because the attached rubber thing had broke and my gas cap no longer was attached when unscrewed. Told him my husband would be there with the car at that time. Well, they changed the oil, additional filters, different fluids, etc ($700+) but my husband gets home and NONE of the items were fixed that I made the appointment for. Have tried to reach Kyle, left a voice message yesterday afternoon, again this morning, and NO return call.
Don’t buy used cars from AutoNation Honda or acura - Yaya
I just purchased a used 2015 Honda CRV two weeks ago and had a bad vibration problem. Took it into service to find out that this repair will cost around $500 and the bogus four month warranty won’t cover it. I have bought five cars from this dealership and, this will be the last one. Noneone expects to need repairs to a car that they just purchased from what should be a reputable dealership. I expected that the management team would stand behind this issue.
