I don't want to take anything away from the other professionals at BMW & Mercedes-Benz of Lincoln, but I would find it very hard to believe I could have worked with a better individual than Colin Ludvik.
I would highly recommend him to anyone, and you'd be doing yourself a favor by asking for him by name the moment you walk through the door.
I've purchased dozens of vehicles over the years. I genuinely love cars, and I tend to put a lot of thought into the process. Long before I ever visit a dealership, I've usually researched the models, option packages, features, and priorities that matter to me.
Unfortunately, in many cases, I've found that sales staff know less about the vehicle than I do. That's not meant as an insult—many buyers don't need that level of detail—but as someone who has spent a lifetime in sales, I have a tremendous amount of respect for a professional who truly knows their product.
Colin may be the first salesperson I've worked with who could answer every question I had without hesitation. He was patient, knowledgeable, responsive, and never made the process feel rushed or pressured.
In fact, I didn't walk into BMW of Lincoln planning to buy a BMW, and I certainly didn't walk in planning to buy from Colin, let alone in the next 6 months. Yet his professionalism, product knowledge, and customer service are a major reason I purchased my first BMW. It likely won't be my last.
As for the dealership itself, BMW of Lincoln was a much better experience than many of the larger-volume stores I've visited over the years. The atmosphere was friendly, professional, and refreshingly low-pressure. Their inventory was excellent, pricing was competitive, and the entire process felt straightforward from start to finish.
What really stood out was the effort Colin put into the experience. Personalized videos, detailed walk-arounds, quick communication, careful preparation of the vehicle, and genuine attention to detail. He treated the purchase as if it mattered, and that goes a long way.
Honestly, I can say this was one of the best vehicle-buying experiences I've had.
