We had an absolutely exceptional experience working with Catherine Foss at Genesis of South Shore. After contacting several dealerships, it became clear that while Genesis is a luxury brand, not every dealership truly delivers a luxury level of service. From the very beginning, we explained that we were looking to lease a Genesis and, as two very busy professionals working in the city, we needed a seamless, high-end experience with documents prepared and the vehicle delivered. We wanted to avoid the usual dealership hassle, back-and-forth, and negotiating process, and Catherine completely exceeded every expectation. She was incredibly responsive, attentive, and genuinely invested in helping us find the best possible option. Not only did she secure an excellent price, but she also got us into the exact model and configuration we had been searching for online. What truly set her apart was her willingness to go above and beyond. When another dealership told us delivery wasn’t an option, Catherine worked with her manager and personally drove the car to our apartment building in the city, handed us the keys, and made the entire process effortless and enjoyable. It honestly felt almost too good to be true. We’re still in disbelief that we get to drive such an incredible vehicle and that the process could be this smooth. We have never worked with someone so professional, accommodating, and kind, and we would absolutely work with her again without hesitation. If you’re reading this review and considering Genesis of South Shore, do yourself a favor and ask for Catherine. You will receive true white glove service and an experience that fully reflects what a luxury brand should be.

Agreeing on a lease price was relatively easy , however there were some unexpected fees added in by the finance person. Overall a good price but would have liked it better if those fees had been presented up front. Not willing to negotiate on possible 2nd vehicle.

This was the smoothest car buying experience I've ever had, and I've bought alot of cars over the years. They listed their sale price online and stuck to it. No dealer xx add ons or questionable fees to dig through. Totally transparent. Chad Green and the rest of the staff are complete professionals. All dealers should strive to be like Genesis of Milford!

I have never had a worse experience at a car dealership than at Genesis of Danbury. I was lied to multiple times, I was cheated multiple times, and I was ignored. This could be a very long review but the short version is I went on a test drive and liked a certified used 2022 Genesis G70 but immediately noticed a sensor error on the dash. I brought it up and was told it was a known issue and would be taken care of. I go inside and agree to buy it and the sales guy tells me the price of the car is going up because I’m paying cash when he just told me 3 days prior the price is the same no matter how I pay. When I bring that up to him he has the nerve to lie to my face and say the rule just changed in the last 3 days. They string me along for a week while they try to fix the sensor error, I leave work earlier a week later when they tell me its ready, I have an appointment and spend close to 3 hours at the dealership doing paperwork. I drive it off the lot and 10 min later then sensor error comes back on. I immediately called and they said they’d give me a loaner. After a ton of back and forth for over a month it comes out in an email that this sensor error has been known since March! 7 months before I stepped foot into the dealership. So they sold me a car that they have not been able to fix for 7 months and called it a certified car. I tell them numerous times I don’t want the car anymore and I want a refund and my trade in car back. They tell me they can’t give me my trade in vehicle back because they sold my trade in. My trade in could not have been sold because I never gave them the title to it as I was on the duplicate to come in from DMV. I had to write an email to the owners of the dealership telling them how awful this entire process has been. I get a call back and they agree to refund me and give me my trade in back. They 3 days later they call me back and again tell me they can’t give me my trade in back because it is indeed sold (again without the title) They have lied the entire way. There are many more details I could give about this 2 months ordeal but that is the basic version. In the end I bought from Genesis Milford which was a much more honest and reasonable dealership and actually a pleasure to work with. Stay far far away from Genesis Danbury.

Vehicle was presented as certified. I came from a bit of a drive. The vehicle was delivered non serviced and not in the condition as promised! I contacted the sales representative and she no longer works there. I made numerous attempts to contact the dealership and I am told the sales manager will call me back immediately. 3 times as of now and no call and no resolution for my Genesis 70. My next call will be to DMV claims and my personal attorney. It’s unfortunate that this was my experience. I hope this never occurs to anyone else!

I went to this dealership to look at a used GV70 for - jet75028

I went to this dealership to look at a used GV70 for sale. According to Kelly Blue Book, the car was priced $2600.00 above fair market value. Upon examination, the vehicle had multiple scratches and damage to the interior door handle. I test-drove the car and liked it, and then I asked the salesperson about the price. They were unwilling to negotiate the price. They told me they would fix the scratches, and the price was final. When I told him about what I saw in the Kelly Blue Book, they told me it was inaccurate. This was the worst experience I have had at a dealership. It was a total waste of my time, and any dealership that thinks their inventory is made of gold usually isn't offering the best deals. Stay Away!!
