Disappointed, this dealership came highly recommended from a family member. Overall unprofessional business practices.
Buyers order/deposit was taken on 11/15/25 for a new order of cadillac escalade esv v series, color chosen was magnus frost apparently new color for 2026. Pricing was confirmed at MSRP for any customer orders.
11/22/25, I receive a call/text from the sales associate Mike saying that management wants to charge extra of , because they just found out that the color I chose is apparently is becoming a limited edition run of only producing 150 units or so. The only difference is the color, keep in mind you are already paying $5k for that as an option. Management wants to charge a 5-8% markup. I said absolutely not, buyers order is in, deposit was taken. Honor your commitment.
They refused, and offered me the lower only 5% mark up, I consistently stood ground, Then he said management never does this, but then offered $5k only. I said absolutely not, you took my order in at the MSRP price, and it should be honored. They again refused, and said they will refund my money, which I didn't have any other choice, as they were not going to sell me the car at MSRP. They offered the MSRP for the car at another color, which was fine, but overall because of what happened, I don't trust them anymore. For example I hypothetically said what if GM said this is the last year Escalade V series are being made?...From how you as a company dishonored a confirmed buyers order/deposit, you would do the same exact thing if I kept the buyers order and changed the color. Or if covid happened again production stopped and orders were backed logged, you would capitalize on the situation.
Unfortunately not much I am able to do at this point, but they canceled the order, and it took them 9 business days to refund my deposit, yet it only took them minutes to take the deposit. Being that I am in the merchant processing business, it should not take over 9 business days to process a refund.
Either way, Mike the sales guy was alright, but in my opinion he could have fought harder with management to approve the deal.
Definitely beware of their business practices, and make sure deals are written out completely, or have paper trail of all communications.
