I was extremely interested in purchasing a Nissan Altima... - mamakitty

I was extremely interested in purchasing a Nissan Altima that Perigo had on the lot. Jerry told me there would be no problem taking the car to my mechanic in Lafayette. In fact, he said, "We have nothing to hide." I arranged to take the car to the mechanic on Friday morning. When I called Jerry back at Perigo to let him know that my mechanic was available, he suddenly wanted a $100 non-refundable deposit to take the car to Lafayette to the mechanic. I do not understand the nonsense. No other dealer wants $100 for me to take a car to MY mechanic, who I PAY for any inspection. I am left believing that something was wrong with the car and that my top-knotch mechanic would have found the problem and told me not to buy the Altima. I'm glad there are other dealers around who have honest reputations and will let me take any car on their lots to my mechanic prior to making a purchase. Everyone should be able to do this. I got nothing but nonsense from Perigo once I expressed interest in the Altima, and I already had financing approved with a local Lafayette bank. DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS DEALER! By the way, I have impeccable credit and have never had any accident and MY insurance company, Erie, would cover driving that car to/from the mechanic. The only answer Jerry gave for the nonsense was that IF I took the car off their lot it would prevent other buyers from seeing the car. I'm certain they are flooded with people at 7:30 a.m. wanting to see their cars. The car was to be gone for under one hour. So....if anyone out there wants the Altima, it is still on Perigo's lot where it should remain because you won't be allowed to have a mechanic look at the car unless you plan to waste $100 of your money with Perigo and pay your mechanic too!

I had a good experience with my salesperson. - Mport

I had a good experience with my salesperson. The wait time for production of the vehicle was satisfactory. Helpful staff. It’s been 19 years since I bought a car. It’s much less personal than it used to be. I hope the maintenance service continues to be excellent. Lately it’s been taking longer to arrange a service date.in some instances.

Wonderful salesman, Spencer. Got us into the vehicle we wanted and gave us what we wanted for our trade. The windshield on our new used vehicle was cracked and they replaced it at their cost. This is a great dealership and very friendly and fair.

Great experience - RAbernathey

JR in sales started the experience with a easy not pushy attitude. Was near closing and he stayed late so I could take car home that evening. Whole time spent less then hour and half. Got the price I wanted in less then 2 minutes.

I had a great experience they were very polite, - Queen Bee

I had a great experience they were very polite, respectful, no pressure to buy. I was treated like a person not a dumb female, like past experiences from other dealerships. I would recommend them and will buy from again.

I was interested in a vehicle and asked about the - wayne513666

I was interested in a vehicle and asked about the pricing. As soon as I inquired about a possible price adjustment, the tone completely changed — responses became passive-aggressive and unprofessional. I was repeatedly pushed to put down a deposit, even before I had the full details. It felt more like pressure than genuine sales support.

I stopped in to look at a Ford f150 and spoke with the manager Shawn, WOW is all I can say. I got a newer truck, traded in my old one and my payment hardly changed. Jen the finance lady did a great job explaining the warranty and got me a better rate than I have ever had. I will tell everyone to go see Grote!

I needed my tires rotated. I happened to be in the area... - 8973glenburn

I needed my tires rotated. I happened to be in the area so I dropped in. They immediately took care of me. They throughly checked my car for any problems. I found out that my front brakes needed to be replaced soon. Being a woman I depend on your dealership to take care of my maintence. The service manager, Kevin Hawkins, took me to the lounge and got me a cup of coffe personally. The tire rotation was free you can't beat free. Overall I would say that your dealership is the best. I have told some people about how good you are.8973

Beau and Jeff were wonderful to deal with. We really... - Carol Hoffmyer

Beau and Jeff were wonderful to deal with. We really liiked the "wholesale to the public" theme that we expirenced and will recommend it to all our friends. Very low interest rates were quite a suprise because other dealers were wanting to charge us over 20% because the car was over 5 years old. Beau and Jeff got us 6% thru a local credit union. Thanks again for all your help.
