Leon and Dudley were great to deal with If you are looking for a car at Freedom then ask for Leon Prater. He listens and advises without ever being pushy. He wants you the customer to get the vehicle you want and is never pushy about it. I started out looking at a 2015 Dodge Challenger and ending up buying a new 2018 Challenger via Leon a week later. Never once did Leon pressure me nor did Dudley Sewell, the sales manager. Both bent over backwards to get me the car I wanted (they had to dealer trade) at a great price. Both were dedicated to making me happy. I had the opposite experience during the closing. The F&I office was like you'd imagine the back office at a seedy pawn shop would be. The man handling the closing couldn't have cared less. When I pointed out that he had misspelled my name he blew it off, saying (in effect) it didn't matter. When I restated that he had misspelled my name, he blew it off again. I had to wait an hour for the closing. It would have taken him 1 minute to reprint the form. More

Great sales staff, Horrible service department Sales Staff (David Kubulis) was great. Service is HORRIBLE! I scheduled appointment to get new tires put on at 7AM. Bring it in at 7AM and service adv Sales Staff (David Kubulis) was great. Service is HORRIBLE! I scheduled appointment to get new tires put on at 7AM. Bring it in at 7AM and service advisor wasn't there. The other one said I was early for my 8AM appointment, and my advisor wasn't even there. He booked me in, said I had to wait for shuttle for 30 minutes, even though Tyler(service advisor) said day prior I'd be right on the shuttle. I asked if it would be ready by noon to schedule shuttle pickup. He said for sure. I got a call at 11:30, tires came in late, truck will be ready at 12:30, okay fine. Shuttle didn't come get me until 12:30. Get to dealership and had to wait until 1:45PM for them to say it's ready, they didn't do car wash like promise, didn't do the warranty inspection. They take car to get washed, I go to leave and notice the driver side mirror's turn signal lens is broken off. After 30 minutes of them "looking at camera footage", they say it was already like that and refuse to fix it. Said they were done and I can file lawsuit if I wanted. Terrible, terrible service department. More

Before I left was told on 2 separate phone calls the agreed apon price. Spend all the gas money and hotel money to get there. Once there while doing the paper work they change the price on me. Drastically. Think they made a mistake verify with the untrained sales men of the price we agreed over the phone. Sales manager comes back and says they can't do the price I agreed to drive 8.5 for. On top of that they refused to re balance a tire that lost its weights. Saying the guy la in the back won't do anything with out being paid. The untrained sales men said. You must not be a hillbilly. WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THAT. More

A great buying experience on a new Dodge Ram 1500 I could not have asked for a better deal than what I got from Freedom. 20 years ago I purchased a truck from them and was so disappointed I swore I w I could not have asked for a better deal than what I got from Freedom. 20 years ago I purchased a truck from them and was so disappointed I swore I would never go back. Well, here I sit with an awesome 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 and as happy about this deal as I have ever been. A big thanks goes to Andrew Williams and Tom Cecil. Good Job! More

I wish I could give -10 Agreed to a price on a New 2017 RAM 2500 over emails. Told salesman I would get financing and get back. I was able to get my own financing 1.5 percentage points less and told everything was fine. Got a call back hours later saying since I did my own financing I would not be able to get a $1000 rebate and I would not get the free nerf bars steps we agreed to. First time any mention of this. I tell them I will drive down from Cincinnati to Lexington on Sunday and be there at noon to sign papers and pick up the truck. Find out when I get there that truck has over 1000 miles on it already. Was never told this was a DEMO but I needed the truck so I accepted it. I waited over 3.5 hours to take 5 minutes to sign all papers. Finance person knew I was waiting and had to be other place at certain time but it did not matter. I called my finance company 30 days later to change bank account on auto payment and was told my loan had been canceled due to the dealership not getting back with them. I then called the dealer and after multiple calls finally get to talk to a real person, a sales manager. He looks at my info and says someone will call me back in 5 minutes. Were I was staying had no phone service so I stayed in town waiting for a return call. After 2 hours I start calling and always get transferred to a voice mail. I call and talk to the operator, Carol, who I explain I need to talk to a real person, not a voice mail and she rudely replies its her job to just transfer calls and whether it goes to voice mail is not her job and get transferred to voice mail. I then call and ask for the owner and I get transferred to voice mail. I leave a message but over a week later no returned phone call. (No return call yoiu will see must be a company policy). After 3 days of calling leaving messages I call again and finally get a human. They then transfer me to a finance person that tells me they did everything they are suppose to, (hard to believe) and will call the bank and will get back with me the next day. Of course no return call the next day. I call the finance guys cell phone and leave several messages. Finally he calls me back and tells me everything is OK and the bank will call me. The bank calls and tells me the dealer was going to repossess my new truck, but they the bank would overnight the payment. The reason payment was not send and the loan cancelled was because the dealer WOULD NOT CALL BACK to verify the truck was actually sold to me. SURPRISE!!!! They don't return phone calls. I called the finance guy and told him my temp plates expire soon and he said the new plates were over night that day. Of course they weren't as it took 6 days to get my over night package. In buying vehicles for 40 years this is the worst experience ever!!!!! More
