Wonderful buying experience with Abby @ DCH Lexus of SB Abby was extremely knowledgeable about all of the Lexus models I considered before deciding to purchase a 2020 ES350 Luxury Sedan. She was courteous Abby was extremely knowledgeable about all of the Lexus models I considered before deciding to purchase a 2020 ES350 Luxury Sedan. She was courteous and I never felt pressured. She reviewed maintenance along with information about their Service Center. Steve in Finance was great to deal with making the paperwork end of the deal a pleasure as well. Finally Mark in Customer Service ran through the entire Car from top to bottom on how to operate all of the features. I absolutely love the car and highly recommend DCH Lexus of Santa Barbara. Yes and No Would I buy a car from DCH lexus? Yes and no. Yes because the sales people were pretty decent. No because of the overall treatment. I love dealing wit Would I buy a car from DCH lexus? Yes and no. Yes because the sales people were pretty decent. No because of the overall treatment. I love dealing with great sales people but isnt that kind of part of their job description?? My family and I had recently upgraded to a bigger SUV due to upsizing our family. We saw the car online and was able to work a deal out over the phone since the dealership was close to 3hrs away from where we lived. We ended up driving down to the dealership and the car was a perfect fit for us. The interior condition wasn't the cleanest...in fact I found a hand full of pretzels, a funion, and a vanilla crispy wafer underneath the third row seat. There were also fingerprints all over the back windows. They had the car go back to get detailed and brought it back from being detailed 45min later. Quick detail job I know. I inspected it and found the same food in the back seat and fingerprints. Also there was sand in the creveses of the seats. So I pointed it out and they took it back again. 20 minutes later it came back. Only found 2 pretzels this time and the sand was still there. Instead of having them send it back for the 3rd time I knew it wasn't going to come back any cleaner. So that was strike number 1. After the deal closed it was still daytime and we were unable to see that the front windshield had a hazy coat on it which made it very unsafe to drive at nighttime due to the glare from the oncoming headlights. My husband and I decided that since we were already going to have to pay someone to detail our car since the dealership failed to do, we would see if the detailer could get that film off. He wasn't able too so the windshield was considered damage. My husband called the dealership and they took a couple days to work something out. They needed us to drive to the next city, which is an hour there and an hour back, to pay out of our pockets to get the windshield replaced. They would reimburse us of course but the fact that we have had close to $600 come out of our pockets 3 days after buying the car, not cool. $250 detail job, $292 for windshield, and $50 for the gas we used to drive and get the windshield. We were only reimbursed for the windshield. Just dissapointed that they didnt take responsibility for all of the out of pocket costs. No one should drive away with a new car having to get it professionally detailed themselves on their own time and money. I should have never even had to send the car back to get re detailed. It should have been in mint shape as is. In conclusion if you want to leave the dealership driving a like new car and a safe one, I might add, probably shouldn't go to this one. We've bought a handful of cars over the last 10 years and have never been unsatisfied like we were with this purchase. More
