TLDR: Common dealer tactics:List vehicles that are unavailable, do anything to get you in the door, keep switching your point of contact January 29th: Filled out a form for the dealership to contac unavailable, do anything to get you in the door, keep switching your point of contact January 29th: Filled out a form for the dealership to contact me just so I could understand what the wait will be like for a CX-5 in current market conditions. A salesperson named David reached out to me and I let him know I was waiting to buy the car until my tax refund came through. He said no problem let him know when I'm ready. February 2nd: David emailed me asking if I had a trade in. I did so he asked me if I wanted to come down for a free appraisal. I said sure even though it is an hour drive from my house to them. We make an appointment for the 5th. February 5th: I get to the dealership about 45 minutes late due to a bad accident on the 10 that day. I get an email from the manager Adam letting me know if David is busy to see him. Understandable since I was running late. When I actually get to the dealership instead of either David or Adam I get a salesperson named Juan. Juan is a nice guy but knows nothing about my situation. Since they don't have the trim I want on the lot (even though it says they did on their website) Juan offered to take a test drive with me on the next trim down while they appraised my car. So I did that and when I get back to the dealership to find out the appraisal they say they don't want to give me a price for the car. The ENTIRE reason I went there that day. So I left wasting 4 hours of my weekend. February 6th: Get an email from a Blake saying he is the Sales Manager and asking me about my experience coming in and if there is anything else I needed. I emailed him back letting him know my frustrations with what happened and he has yet to email me back. February 10th: Put down a holding deposit on the CX-5 I wanted at Horne Mazda. So I talked to David, Adam, Juan, and Blake and got the runaround the entire time. I would love to have a real conversation with someone from Mark Mazda but who knows who I will get this time. More

Very shady dealership. Addendums are voluntary and they con you into purchasing. They do not value customer satisfaction and buyers should Run away. con you into purchasing. They do not value customer satisfaction and buyers should Run away. More

I would not have bought my car if it weren't for our salesman, Jerry! When we arrived for a test drive, the car wasn't even relatively clean even though we scheduled a few days in advance. There was som salesman, Jerry! When we arrived for a test drive, the car wasn't even relatively clean even though we scheduled a few days in advance. There was some sort of goop on the console, dirt through the entire vehicle, remnants of the previous driver in all the storage compartments and it stank so bad it gave me a headache while we took it for a ride. Regardless, we liked the car, the price was good and Jerry assured us that it would be taken care of. There were some issues in the paint. Sap drops had eaten through to the metal and it was strategically covered up with a similar color of the car. Thankfully, it wasn't the same color so we were able to notice it and addressed a re-painting in order to make the sale. (Subsequently, there is a long drip from the repainting that runs down the side door.) When we finally got the car (a week later) it looked great but I still had to do some minor cleaning on the interior and was grateful I didn't have to pay for such shoddy detailing. Overall, I felt there was zero communication within the dealership, having been contacted by a few salesman but unable to respond (email communication doesn't go through) and truly felt they didn't want to sell this car (or maybe even any car?) considering the horrid condition it was in when I test drove it. The only motivated member of the Mark Mazda team that I experienced was Jerry. Everyone else and all the departments that were relevant seemed like they set a low standard of care. More
