UPDATE: The GM called me, and they're taking care of EVERYTHING. As someone who has owned 31 cars in 25 years of driving, I know that not everything is perfect sometimes so I'm changing my 1 star review EVERYTHING. As someone who has owned 31 cars in 25 years of driving, I know that not everything is perfect sometimes so I'm changing my 1 star review to a 5 star review. They are making things right and that really matters. They were also able to overnight ship my paperwork and I was able to register the car with no penalty (on the last day). ORIGINAL REVIEW: I will gladly update this if things change, but as of right now, it's been a very poor experience purchasing a car from Murfreesboro Hyundai. I purchased a used vehicle from them on 12/29/22, after speaking with several salesman over a week or so time period. I asked all the important questions about maintenance, inspections, etc. and was told the vehicle was in great shape, was very clean, and there were no issues whatsoever. The vehicle was delivered to me 250 miles away the next day; I'm assuming that they wanted to get as many deliveries as possible accomplished before the end of the month/year. Upon delivery, the vehicle had several "service needed" notifications, including the brakes and the blind spot monitoring system (which was completely inoperative). I immediately called my salesman before signing any paperwork and asked that the issues be addressed and to send me a "we owe" sheet outlining the issues; only then would I complete the purchase. It took nearly 3 weeks for the dealership to agree on a place to have the vehicle serviced, and they seem to be skirting around the blind-spot monitoring issue as something they weren't aware of or was never mentioned. I'm scheduled for service on Friday and we will see what the final bill is (I bought a Porsche, so it's not cheap). Lastly, it's now been 27 days since delivery and I still don't have a copy of the title in hand to register the vehicle. I will have to pay substantial late fees if I can't register it within 30 days. Ultimately, if you're buying a new car from them, maybe you won't have any issues. .. . As I said, if everything is addressed and paid for as promised and I receive the title today or tomorrow, I'll gladly upgrade my review with a few more stars. Alex has actually been a very good salesman and generally communicative throughout this process; I don't blame him for the condition of the vehicle or the responses that I've received (or not received) from the service and accounting departments. This is the worst dealership I’ve ever dealt with. They have done nothing to my vehicle for almost a month. I have dealt with multiple different advisors who tell me my car will be looked at soon but They have done nothing to my vehicle for almost a month. I have dealt with multiple different advisors who tell me my car will be looked at soon but can never get a definitive answer. I have also spoke to two different managers who also say they will help but they never call me back. They all just say what they need to to get me off the phone. It’s disgusting how they do business. My car has been parked for almost a month and they have done nothing to it. Every day I call, and they say it’ll be today or tomorrow. It’s just a circle of lies. And they even lost my vehicle at one point, and they say my vehicle had only been there 2 weeks. How does that happen? Lack of paperwork? Lack of paperwork? I don’t know but they suck. More

I would never buy Hyundai again. Never! Servive is really bad, here is why: our car after 60K miles got a dead engine ( this is with a regular check-up). but this is not the worst. I Never! It has been two months already and the Murfreesboro Hyundai still has not contacted Hyundai warranty to get approval for the engine UNDER warranty to be approved. Two months-nothing has been done, even a call. Moreover, they don't give you a replacement car. The answer is:" we have too many customers with broken cars, and some of them are without a car for more than 12 months". More

Wanted a hummer H3T and they just happened to have one. Talk about nervous... Alex calmed me down and walked me through the process. I have never purchased a vehicle without looking and driving it, so the whole time I was nervous. Alex and his boss was great to work with. Alex was the nicest person I have ever dealt with, Including in the state I live in. Well on the 1"rst of March they had a man {who was the absolute wonderful guy} drive the truck from Tennessee right to my front door and it is everything I had hoped for, and I just love it. So yes this is a wonderful dealership that I would recommend to anyone. If you have any doubts, don't. The entire process was easy, once I understood how it all worked. And if you happen to get Alex for a salesman, you are in luck... Can't say enough about Murfreesboro Hyundai. Thanks because I am a happy camper.. More
