Two words to sum up my first, and not last experience at Handy Toyota (in case you don't want to read my essay): Genuine. Honest. I was actually unaware that Handy even existed, as it is about 45min. f Handy Toyota (in case you don't want to read my essay): Genuine. Honest. I was actually unaware that Handy even existed, as it is about 45min. from me and there is a local Toyota dealer in my town (Heritage), but thanks to a referral to Handy, and more specifically Ali Kamal, my experience was delightful (cheesy sounding I know, but it's the truth). I received a surprisingly fair & reasonable trade-in value for my '02 Xterra and after an amazing test drive (2010 Toyota Highland - wow!) that further pleasantly surprised me, coupled w/ the professionalism, knowledge, care & consideration from Ali, I was sold!! There were no salesy/gimmicky or hokey sales tactics or "this is the car for you", etc (which I've experienced elsewhere), it was just a natural sale & natural feeling, and I will gladly be referring business to Ali & Handy. It's well worth the extra drive given the welcoming environment and the personable and knowledgeable staff. Furthermore, Handy is extremely competitive and fair in pricing. I was given a tour and introduced to some of the service dept. members, and that made me feel comfortable and welcome to bring my car there for service, w/o hesitation, based on the yrs of experience they shared w/ me. Ali followed through on every promise, and has since followed up to inquire about how things have been since my purchase. It was easy to see why I was referred to him. I have never been more pleased with a salesperson as I I have never been more pleased with a salesperson as I was with Ali. He was very patient,informed,friendly,and most of all honest. Was looking to buy a new Toyota Tacoma so of course I was doing research online and I found Handy's through dealerrater.com web site. Initially, I have to say I was leery of their rating here because it seem doing research online and I found Handy's through dealerrater.com web site. Initially, I have to say I was leery of their rating here because it seemed too good to be true but after completing a deal with them I am no longer skeptical. I talked with White River Toyota and actually had a slightly lower price on a super white but when they started trying to strong arm and rush me into a deal I got irritated with them and went back the 150 miles to Handy's and completed the deal. So even though the dealer 30 miles from home was slightly lower I chose to drive 5 times further to buy a new vehicle and I'm very happy I did. Ali was was very pleasant to deal with, never pressured us, and explained everything in clear detail with no annoying salesman tactics. If your looking to buy a new Toyota I highly recommend you check out Handy's for yourself. More

I've dealt with the Heritage/Courtesy/Berlin City folks in the past and you really want a shower afterwards! At Handy, it was a very low key and painless process to buy a new Tundra. Ali was patient and not pushy,very easy to work with . Only negative was the finance folks tried to jig the interest rate after the fact: Offered lower interest rate than quoted but with a "service charge" that actually made the loan more expensive. Could have been an honest error but as with any dealer, READ EVERYTHING. Buying a car is never "fun" but this was as easy and hassle-free as it could be. More
