I must say that my experience as a first time customer at Manly Honda wasn’t as enjoyable as it should have been. The salesman delivered a car I purchased on their site, which was nice, however after driving Manly Honda wasn’t as enjoyable as it should have been. The salesman delivered a car I purchased on their site, which was nice, however after driving it the first day, I felt that it wasn’t the car that fit my needs, so I took advantage of their 7 day guarantee and browsed their site for not only a bigger car, but with less mileage. So I found one I liked and contacted the salesman to let him know that I wanted to swap cars, and he said that he’d start the process. That process went smoothly up until I got home and I realized that the salesman had slipped in a used car warranty plan which added an additional $5k to my loan. I didn’t know that the extended warranty plan was added to my contract, because when I was signing the paperwork, the finance rep didn’t even mention the warranty or even ask me if I wanted it to be added on. So I called the salesman who helped me, and I asked him why the warranty package was on my contract, and he said that it was required by the lender because my car was a used vehicle, and that I could take the warranty off after 6 months of on time payments, which I thought was strange. Well after digging a bit, I read on the warranty document that my loan approval was not contingent on purchasing the warranty plan and that it was optional. So I contacted the finance director who was able to resolve the issue and get the warranty plan taken off and had me resign the contract which took several hours, but at the end of the day it dropped my car payment by $115. I was also contacted by Paul Ciardiello, their GSM, and had a very pleasant conversation, and not only did he take the time to reach out to me and listen to my concerns, but he sincerely apologized for my unpleasant experience, and because of that I will definitely consider returning to them in the future when I decide to purchase a new car. More

We went to the dealership to purchase a Used 2019 Honda Civic for our son, and ended up buying TWO VEHICLES! While there, I fell in love with a 2021 Honda Pilot (Black Edition) and ended up purchasing it Civic for our son, and ended up buying TWO VEHICLES! While there, I fell in love with a 2021 Honda Pilot (Black Edition) and ended up purchasing it as well! In dealing with the purchase of the 2019 Civic, I was SUPER pleased with our sales person, Greg Morelos. However, in dealing with he finance person, Tim , I was less than happy. He came across as the stereotypical "car salesman"... in so far as I ended up with an aftermarket warranty that I did not want! (I cancelled it a week later). The next morning, we arrived to the dealership to complete the purchase of the 2021 Honda Pilot with Greg Morelos, and when he took us to finance to complete the paperwork, Tim was a "no show" - despite Greg having called Tim earlier to confirm the appointment. Poor Greg was trying to assist us as well as he could during this time and eventually was able to pair us with another finance person, Ali Tanbakuchi... Ali was AWESOME! I am SOOOO glad we were able to deal with him. Ali was able to take a bad situation and turn it around and we left completely happy. ***It is noteworthy too that Tim called the next day and left a voicemail half-heartedly apologizing and trying to mitigate his absence by claiming the "dealership was busy"...??? He essentially took no responsibility for his being a NO SHOW and it really did nothing to mitigate his actions. In fact, it was somewhat insulting... Additionally, dealt with Service Advisor, Ron Timms, for some accessories to be installed, and Denise Mandy for the loaner car and they both was also awesome from start to finish. I was absolutely AMAZED at how the dealership ran as it was evident that their operations are "dialed in".... especially under the covid restrictions, and such, I was BEYOND pleased with the experience and we are loyal Honda owners and now I am a loyal Manly customer! More
