Bought 2021 Certified Toyota Tundra, paid full asking price, $43,000 out the door. Truck (dark grey metallic) had two (2) scratches on rear door when I did a very thorough pre-purchase inspection. The salesman and talked about how it was only scratched on one door; and he offered to have it buffed out before I took delivery, but didn't. On delivery day, I was in a rush and told him it wasn't a deal breaker, I would do it myself. A week later, I washed it for the first time and after towel drying, the entire truck had many scratches, all over the body, some are very deep. They had used some sort of cover-up, like a tinted Armor-All, that concealed dozens of scratches, but washed right off after the first washing! They also promised to email me all forms once I wired the money, so I could just pickup the vehicle quickly on the agreed upon delivery day. I paid in full three days earlier and told them I was on a tight schedule on delivery day. Once I paid them, they refused to email the paperwork, claiming DMV regulations required I complete paperwork in person! I asked for that DMV code section and was told their internet was down, the guy wasn't in, etc. When I arrived to get the truck, they had the registration wrong, which was why I wanted forms done and reviewed by me in advance. They also failed to fill in proper terms on Warranty, and that had to be re-done. They promised 2 keys, but lost one and wanted me to come back another day (far drive) for 2nd key. I objected and insisted it be taken care of by my local Toyota dealer, which they reluctantly agreed to, but then also failed to authorize for months. After many emails and calls, I finally did it myself, and my secretary spent two hours on the phone to get them to pay for the 2nd key. The worst was the extensive concealed scratches, and them clearly leaving two scratches on one door visible, so they could claim it had scratches when I bought it... Very disheartening to experience such sleazy business practices. More
