I purchased a vehicle about a year ago. It was used but in the course of a year I came across a number of issues. To the point I was completely frustrated. This last experience I had changed my outlook on in the course of a year I came across a number of issues. To the point I was completely frustrated. This last experience I had changed my outlook on the dealership but more importantly the service department. The issue was taken care of and the way it was handled was extremely professional. I would recommend this service department to anyone. i truly appreciate what they did for me. More

It took 4 visits to complete an airbag recall. 1st appointment the new airbag hadn't been ordered yet. I thought my car was going to be worked on that day. 2nd appointment the new airbag was installed appointment the new airbag hadn't been ordered yet. I thought my car was going to be worked on that day. 2nd appointment the new airbag was installed but some damage was done to the trim/dashboard. 3rd appointment the new trim was supposed to be installed but it was not because there was some confusion and the new trim didn't match the color of the original or the dashboard. When I picked up my car from that visit the damage to the trim appeared worse to me. I was assured by Rico, one of the managers, that instead of replacing the trim, the damage could be repaired by a vinyl specialist. 4th appointment was to have the trim repaired by the vinyl specialist. I would say he did a so so job and now the trim looks warped and it doesn't look like it fits properly in the airbag opening. The managers and desk clerks are all very nice, but someone lost my paperwork, including the airbag recall notice that I had received in the mail and my receipt given to me when the airbag was replaced, stating the damage that was done to the dashboard and trim. Rico made copies of all the paperwork he had, but he still couldn't locate the missing ones. All in all I would have to say that I am not happy with the service of my car at Scranton Chevrolet. More

Must of been a bad day...but Complete joke! Been a customer before the "pandemic" and they were the absolute best! This time 0 stars! Go in for a scheduled appointment for an oil change on a diesel customer before the "pandemic" and they were the absolute best! This time 0 stars! Go in for a scheduled appointment for an oil change on a diesel -yes it's $266.00. I know the cost no issue. Pick up next morning before they open and great my $266 oil change is done but why ask me or offer service and state on the invoice - video inspection and multipoint, I get it courtesy to do but not do it? Had it done in the past. Tire pressures are all off. Had to ask for that to be done. And again I ask did you find anything else wrong with the truck because there is nothing on the invoice?....response is well are you having issues?! Wasn't this discussed when I dropped off the vehicle? Traveling 1100 plus miles in the next 24 hours, scheduled oil change, I know about the recall on the rear defroster but don't have the time (I brought this up - service did not) but please check vehicle so no issues traveling. OK now Great wait another 45 min to have them put air in the tires. Mind you I need to wait till 8 am till they open but was there before to pick it up from it being done yesterday. Reasoning behind courtesy items not being done is they had a vehicle leaking oil at the end of the day yesterday and it was hectic. I am completely disappointed! And no it's not the techs fault (I think it was William so I gave him 5 stars, friendly and most likley was told to do it by upper management) who did come and take the vehicle to put air in the tires. Sure I can do it myself but 5 extra minutes yesterday to look the vehicle over was too much with the hectic end of the day. I know things happen but let the customer know before they pick up the vehicle on off hours next time. common courtesy - just like you state "courtesy items" on the invoice. More
