The car I looked at in particular had been advertised on Cars.com for at least two weeks. Its price there bounced between $17k and $19k. On the day of my appointment to see the car, after my test drive, the Cars.com for at least two weeks. Its price there bounced between $17k and $19k. On the day of my appointment to see the car, after my test drive, the back office listed the price of the car at ....... $22k. My salesperson explained it was this was due to inflation, but the New Year started a few weeks ago, and inflation was already factored in the KBB values. Also, the price had not risen above $19k for the three weeks prior, and you want me to believe that suddenly it rose by $3k in less than 10 hours! That would be a change that is 300% of the largest change over the previous three weeks. It was 150% of the range of prices listed over that time. It was not a coincidence or bad luck. It was deliberate deception. This was not the only item on the price break out that was notable. They listed title transfer fee as $2000, when other dealers have listed it closer to $1000. It was said that no sale can be done without Toyota Advantage, which adds $4000 to the purchase price. In the end, it turned out it can be done. I can go on. I'll talk about the problem with KBB some more. At an advertised price of $17k at one point, it was below the bottom of the range of prices suggested by KBB. It would mean that whoever chose the price examined the car, thought for a moment, and felt it was probably worth less than most other cars of the same model, trim, and year. In contrast, $22k was just outside the range on the high side. It meant that someone thought about the car and its condition and felt it was far better than most of its peers. Those two judgments are incompatible. If the belief was the car was poorer than most, then it should be consistently at or around the bottom of the range. If it was believed the car was in better shape, then the listed price should be consistent with the top part of the range. More

Amy was amazing. She definitely went above and beyond what I expected. The 4Runner was used but in great shape. Love that they guaranteed it like a new vehicle. Well She definitely went above and beyond what I expected. The 4Runner was used but in great shape. Love that they guaranteed it like a new vehicle. Well a Toyota is a Toyota isn’t it? Our Tundra has over 200,000 miles and no problems. I’m expecting the same with the 4Runner. This dealership appears honest as dealerships go that is why this is our 4th purchase from them. More
