This was my first service experience with my new Ridgeline. I scheduled my service at 4,500 miles. The service staff informed me that the vehicle determines when the oil needs to be changed and se Ridgeline. I scheduled my service at 4,500 miles. The service staff informed me that the vehicle determines when the oil needs to be changed and sends a notice. I was able to check the "status of my oil" and saw that the oil was only 50% of the way to. needing a change. I called the dealership back and was told that the oil depletes its effectiveness faster as it ages and to keep an eye on it. I am "old school" and asked if I could have it changed early. No problem. He said I would pay for this one and the dealership would pay for the next. I just returned from the service and was very pleased with the experience. More
