Spitzer Chevrolet is the only dealer I take my vehicles to for service and maintenance. This visit, like my previous visits, were pleasant and accomplished what I needed to have done. Came in for a simple full synthetic oil change and until I got home I didn’t realize that they put in conventional oil and not synthetic after I checked my paperwork. I was told several things about the mi I got home I didn’t realize that they put in conventional oil and not synthetic after I checked my paperwork. I was told several things about the mistake and then found out I was lied to about the mixup. After talking to the parts department they told me it was Conventional oil that was originally put in. They redid my oil change for me after I waited an additional hour or so and then I never got a corrected paperwork with the correct part number stating what they did for my records and was told I was OK to leave. Besides that I have had my vehicle in at least five times for a check engine light and have invested close to $3000 and every time I’m in there for the check engine light I’m told it’s a different reason from electrical to pressure leak to on board computer etc. Every time they have serviced for the check engine light it has come back on either the next day or the day after their repair. More
