This dealership sold us a new car that had a “stop sale” order due to a recall. They would only let us test drive the car on their lot because of the recall. They did not let us take possession of the car order due to a recall. They would only let us test drive the car on their lot because of the recall. They did not let us take possession of the car due to the recall, which we did agree with at the time because this was the exact car we wanted. Of course I was hesitant to pay cash for a vehicle that I was not able to drive off the lot, and I specifically asked if we would be able to get a refund if we found a different car before taking possession of that one. The sales manager told me we would get a full refund. 3 months later they were still waiting on parts to satisfy the recall. We then found the exact same car at a different dealership and called to ask for a refund of our purchase price as promised. The sales manager stated that he never promised us that. Basically he called me a liar. When I told him that the exact same car was available from another dealership and ready to drive off the lot he informed me that the other dealership was also a liar. I called the general manager of the dealership and the sales manager again lied and said that he never said he could give us a refund. I Work in the legal field and decided to do some research and found that it was illegal for them to sell a car that was under an active recall!! That is according to federal law and the national transportation safety board. I then again called the general manager of the dealership and the sales manager again lied and said that he never said he could give us a refund. Of course when I called to their attention that they had actually broken a federal law and that I would have to contact my attorney, within a few hours I received a callback that I would be receiving my refund in full immediately. To be fair, I did receive the refund the next day. Which to me just prove that they knew they had illegally sold the car and they just wanted me out of there as quickly as possible. Actually good choice on their part. However neither the general manager nor the sales manager bothered to come out and talk to us, they made the poor young salesman who had sold us the car originally do all of their dirty work today. Totally unprofessional. Totally illegal. It’s bad enough that they illegally sold this car, but then to call a customer a liar and another dealership a liar is beyond comprehension. I would never suggest buying a car at this dealership. More

Poor experience with this dealership staff when they sold a vehicle to another customer hours away from signing a deal. They made no contact, no apology and could care less. Not the right way to treat customers and burn bridges. They may be a large dealership and current supply is in their favor, but that move doesn’t make it right when you’re on the cusp of a purchase. More
