The people working there is rude they don't know how to treat a customer. After I bought the car, I went back to the dealer because I had some concerns and I wanted to ask some questions. The personal di treat a customer. After I bought the car, I went back to the dealer because I had some concerns and I wanted to ask some questions. The personal didn't want to answer my questions and Mr. Saab was really upset with me. He was not answering my question and the tone if voice he was using was totally unacceptable. When I went to talk to Nino to ask for someone else to help me, he completely ignored me and Mr. Saab expressed in front of the other employees that he didn't want to talk to me. I left and I decided to never go back to that dealer. But two weeks later, my brand new Kona broke in the middle of the freeway. Without any reason, it just stopped working! The tow truck had to take it to the dealer and I asked to talk to the general manager. He treated me the same way I was treated some days before. Basically he ignored me when I expressed that a brand new car cannot be like mine after 2 weeks. I told him that they should give me a different car, but he was annoyed and he just said "I can't do anything". I was there for about 3 hours and they said they are going to fix it. That was yesterday, and I have been calling today to see if they already know what happened but they don't answer my calls. AVOID going to this dealer (Hyundai Downey), my daughter bought her car at Cerritos and their services are way better. If you go to Hyundai Downey, be prepared for the worst experience of your life! Seriously! More

I gave them one star because I cannot give them zero or negative stars. Be very careful with this dealer, they will try to trick you by increasing their prices in order to get as much money as they can fr negative stars. They did it to me, and when I asked why they were charging me 1500 dollars for a service that was 800 dollars on the website, the finance guy whose last name is SAAB, got really upset at me. He was treating me in a rude manner and with talking in a negative tone of voice. I told him that I was going to talk to NINO, the manager and he became even more upset. I told the manager that I didn't want to talk to the finance guy anymore because he was so rude and mean and the finance guy told me "I don't want to talk to you either". I said: If you don't want to talk to the clients don't work here and he said so many things with a low voice that I couldn't even understand, but he was so upset. I asked NINO, the manager, if he was going to help me to solve my concerns and he said he was going to do it, they sent me to seat in another area and NINO never came to help me. Instead, they sent another guy and he just said that they were going to talk to the mean finance guy but they didn't solve anything. I do not understand why they hire people who do not want to do their job. I was just asking a question and I ended up feeling so miserable because of the way they treated me. I was going to buy another car for my daughter and I decided to buy from Hyundai Cerritos instead. Trust me, the difference was huge, in Cerritos they value their customers. And their prices are way better. Don't go to Downey, go to Cerritos. More

My car notified to service need so I call service department and make appointment after one week that was on February 29th 1.00 pm feb 28th they called me and confirmed my appointment too but when I department and make appointment after one week that was on February 29th 1.00 pm feb 28th they called me and confirmed my appointment too but when I go there the service team says no one informed them so that I have to stay 4 hrs if need to do after lots of discussion they put me to finance department I so them my service agreement for 2 years which charged me 4000 $ he says they do only beak down he didn’t understand service agreement is for service it’s not breakdown that’s coming under warranty.
