Kudos to Danbury, CT for their thorough and savvy salesmanship in our recent Hyundai Tucson purchase. Irv Zaks deserves specific praise: he had an intuitive understanding of what we wanted in a new v salesmanship in our recent Hyundai Tucson purchase. Irv Zaks deserves specific praise: he had an intuitive understanding of what we wanted in a new vehicle, and worked hard - within our price point- to make the deal happen. More salesperson should take a page out of Irv’s playbook - be an honest broker and work hard to understand what the customer wants. Phenomenal Experience With Eric Shetler My husband and I visited Danbury Hyundai this past weekend with the intention of test driving the 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Our day was going to be packe My husband and I visited Danbury Hyundai this past weekend with the intention of test driving the 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Our day was going to be packed full of 6 different dealerships with 6 different cars I wanted to test drive in anticipation of my current lease coming to an end in 2021. We were met by Eric who took the time to hear my requirements (one being that it had to be "pretty"), he reviewed our budget and the different models that the Palisade came in to ensure that we drove a car that we would be able to afford. Eric brought out a BEAUTIFUL 2020 Palisade SEL in a color called Lagoon Silver, I'm not sure he would have been able to pick a prettier color! Eric showed us around the car and all of its features and handed us the keys and off we went. It drove like a dream. Upon our return Eric asked us what we liked the most about it, ugh everything! But we had to remember that this was dealer #2 out of 6 for the day, we wanted to drive more. "What can we do to get you into this car today" he asked. Nothing I said. My lease wasn't up and I wanted to drive more! He truly then made us an offer we could not refuse. But we did refuse and he respected the fact that I wanted to explore all of my options! He gave me his card, wished us well and told us to call/text him anytime if we wanted to reconsider. We went and drove more cars and at the end of the day the offer that Danbury Hyundai gave us could not be beat, not even close! That afternoon, we went back to see Eric again, asked for a second test drive this time to our house to ensure the car would fit in my garage. Without hesitation Eric grabbed the keys, lunch for us (burgers and fries!) and told us to take all the time we needed to make sure we were making the right choice. We ended up leasing the Palisade from Eric that day and could not have been happier with the service we were provided by the entire Danbury Hyundai team! I would highly recommend anyone interested in a Hyundai to visit this dealership and specifically to work with Eric Shetler! More

Our initial visit we had the pleasure of meeting Paul -very friendly was new to the position -sharing that right up front Paul was friendly, courteous and was extremely patient We came prepared with kn -very friendly was new to the position -sharing that right up front Paul was friendly, courteous and was extremely patient We came prepared with knowing which cars we wanted to see and talk about Paul was thorough and never made us feel rushed-always felt important After a few trips-we decided on on 2 used/ Certified PreOwned Hyndai -Santa Fe & Sonta The cars had some issues -Air not cold and brakes making noises -Paul immediately spoke to his manager Anthony, who Assured us that these things would be addresses and when we came back up the cars would be Ready To Go - He was true to his word -personally overseeing that all was correct We ran into a few “bumps” with pricing and again, Anthony went above and beyond to work with us Introducing us to another Anthony in finance He to was extremely gracious and worked with us Paul was a constant source of calm and kept communicating with use regarding progress in all departments Happy to say We are now the pens of not 1 but 2 Hyundai’s our experience was very good and we would recommend Danbury Hyndai to all looking to Purchase a vehicle More

Treatment of female spouse We have been waiting almost 3 weeks for $500 owed to us. As a 20 year customer of Hyundai, I can say this experience will turn me off for a long time. We have been waiting almost 3 weeks for $500 owed to us. As a 20 year customer of Hyundai, I can say this experience will turn me off for a long time. My spouse went into dealership to test drive a new Palisades, I told sales person we were NOT ready to purchase. My spouse was pressured to leave deposit. I called sales person back same day and told him, I was NOT purchasing the vehicle. He told me, he would take care of deposit. After talking to finance manage, who stated I would get from deposit back the day after our check cleared (which was 6/19/2020) and customer service executive, I still do not have my $500 deposit back. This started on June 18th?? More
