I recently purchased a car from Big Star Hyundai, and my overall experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. While the salesperson was pleasant, the false advertising of the vehicle price resulted in overall experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. While the salesperson was pleasant, the false advertising of the vehicle price resulted in unexpected fees totaling over $10,000, conveniently undisclosed during the purchase process. Moreover, the financial advisor's insistence on not allowing me to use my credit union, coupled with threats of further price increases, left me feeling manipulated and pressured into accepting unfavorable terms. Immediately after driving off the lot, the car exhibited severe shaking issues on the freeway. Despite returning to the dealership, the initial diagnosis of "off-road tires" turned out to be a farce. It was later discovered that the car had a serious problem known as death wobbling, a safety concern that the dealership was ill-equipped to address since they specialized in Hyundai vehicles. To add insult to injury, promises of reimbursement for repairs were shattered when the dealership refused to cover the entire bill from the Jeep service center, leaving me with unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. The lack of accountability and unfulfilled commitments have left me deeply dissatisfied with my purchase and overall experience at Big Star Hyundai. I strongly caution others to thoroughly scrutinize every aspect of their dealings with this dealership, as my experience raises serious questions about their transparency, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction. the service department was great. My sales reps were nice, understanding, somewhat informative. But it's the hindsight that bothers me. I let the process happen and that's on me, but lots of information was withheld from me during e informative. But it's the hindsight that bothers me. And then while speaking to someone about the issues I was cut off, talked over, and was being gas lit into thinking they didn't do anything wrong. After the financing the vehicle I was left to sit in a room for 45 minutes with no idea what was going on. After leaving that night I realized I left something insurance related in the trade in. I left multiple messages with multiple people about an issue and it was never addressed with me. I had to have someone call in my place to get any traction on resolving the situation over 7 hours later. As a first time new car buyer, I feel taken advantage of, but I also didn't know what to ask during the process. Take the review as you will, my story could be an outlier. But that's my experience. More

Not expecting to purchase a new vehicle while in for service. I have to give credit to Sales Manager Paul Hewitt for his persuasive sales techniques! Arin was great as was another Sales Manager Gabriel service. I have to give credit to Sales Manager Paul Hewitt for his persuasive sales techniques! Arin was great as was another Sales Manager Gabriel Cruz for helping sort out a snafu after Paul and Arin were out the next day. I’ll continue to come to this dealer for service even though they are not close by. More

Not a good buying experience at Big Star Hyundai with Arin. The car was delivered without floor mats or cargo net. The sunroof was malfunctioning. Despite asking not to install front number plates those were drilled in. No one answered my calls for 11 days. Arin did not return calls. Left messages twice with the reception and desk but no one called back about the mats or cargo nets or sun roof. Just a terrible feeling having bought the car from them. More

They are awesome. They do take a long time though and sell you a lot of xx. Buying this vehicle was by far the most frustrating experience for buying a car. After buying my car, the sun roof was broken and needed to be fixed. Because if this, I didn’t get to drive off the lot experience for buying a car. After buying my car, the sun roof was broken and needed to be fixed. Because if this, I didn’t get to drive off the lot the day I bought it. I was promised that I could pick it up the next day, the next day comes and it wasn’t ready. The communication was so awful that nobody even told me that my car was being sent to a shop in Houston. I was told that instead of putting the sunroof on the tracks that they would try to fix it. The only communication we received was when we would reach out and ask a million questions. Turns out, they ended up not fixing the sunroof after days of having it because I demanded that I get the car that I bought. When I received the car, the sunroof was out back in “place” but the whole top is all uneven. There was grease stains inside of my car where they had worked on the sunroof. The car was a mess on the inside, which I have pictures to prove. This whole car buying experience that was supposed to be an exciting time turned out to be very disappointing and stressful. Makes me never want to buy a car again. More
