I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Mastrovito Chevy. After spending over $2,700 between repairs and rental vehicles, my car is still experiencing the same issues I originally brought i Mastrovito Chevy. After spending over $2,700 between repairs and rental vehicles, my car is still experiencing the same issues I originally brought it in for. My vehicle was initially towed to the dealership after experiencing repeated battery failures for approximately two weeks. Every three days, the battery would die overnight, requiring a jump-start. Eventually, the vehicle would not start at all. It had no power, the windshield wipers would move on their own, the brake pedal would kick back, and the taillights would remain on even when the car was turned off. After towing my car to Mastrovito Chevy, it took three days just for someone to look at it. They eventually replaced the telematics module and kept my vehicle for a total of nine days. With no courtesy vehicles available, I had to pay for a rental car for five days while waiting for the repairs to be completed. Unfortunately, when I picked up my vehicle and drove it home, it would not start the following morning. I had it towed back to the dealership, where it sat for another four days. This time, I was told the radio was causing a parasitic battery drain, so the radio was replaced. Once again, there were no courtesy vehicles available, forcing me to pay for another rental. The same night I brought my car home, my neighbor informed me that my taillights were on despite the vehicle being turned off. My battery died again. After jump-starting the car, it ran for a few days before dying once more. At this point, the repairs performed have not resolved the original problem. The recurring battery drain, along with the other electrical issues, was the reason I brought my vehicle to the dealership in the first place. Having multiple components replaced without resolving the issue leaves me questioning whether the vehicle was properly diagnosed and whether the repairs performed were actually necessary. The financial impact has been significant. I have spent approximately $1,200 on rental vehicles alone, in addition to the repair costs, bringing my total expenses to over $2,700. That is an unacceptable amount of money to spend while still being left with a vehicle that is not fixed. Although the staff I interacted with were generally nice, communication was extremely frustrating, and getting ahold of someone was often a nightmare. More importantly, customer service cannot make up for repeated unsuccessful repairs, extended wait times, and the expense of having to find alternative transportation because no courtesy vehicles were available. I understand that diagnosing electrical problems can be complicated. However, after two visits, multiple parts replaced, numerous days without my vehicle, and thousands of dollars spent, I expected a functioning car and a resolution to the problem. I have lost confidence in Mastrovito Chevy’s ability to properly diagnose and repair my vehicle. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this dealership to anyone seeking reliable service. My car was brought in to be fixed, and despite the time, money, and inconvenience involved, the problem remains unresolved. This entire experience has been frustrating, expensive, and completely unacceptable. More
