I have been a loyal Audi Charlotte customer for years, having purchased two new Audis and servicing them exclusively here. Six years ago, I even gave them a 5-star review. Unfortunately, this dealership has now lost my business for life. My 2020 Audi Q7 sat immobilized in their service bay for nearly six months due to an engine failure. I purchased platinum warranty coverage through Audi Charlotte, but when the engine failed, I was told I would still owe thousands out-of-pocket — the exact opposite of what I was promised when I bought the coverage. The service advisor, finance manager, and sales staff I worked with were professional, helpful, and apologetic. They clearly tried to assist me. The real breakdown was at the leadership level. Senior management mishandled this situation from beginning to end. Promises were not kept, options I was told would be prepared were not, and when I finalized discussions at the store, leadership did not even extend the courtesy of a handshake or an apology. Instead, the complete opposite of what should have happened occurred. After endless delays and conflicting information, management’s “solution” was to move me into a non-Audi vehicle — essentially dismissing my brand loyalty entirely. In the end, I paid more than I should have just to end the ordeal and walk away. All senior management had to do was step up, treat me like the valuable customer I was, and stand behind the product and warranty they sold me. This experience did not have to end this way. With the right leadership involvement, Audi Charlotte could have earned my trust and business back. Instead, they lost a loyal customer and future business because of poor management and a warranty that was not honored when I needed it most. More

Walter Shelton is great! I bought a dealer loaner Audi A6 a few years ago and loved it. But it was gettin up in miles...~56K. Walter called me a few times to tell me about the new models and I should come over. Based on his calls, I started looking at the new Audis but was leaning more towards an SUV. I called Walter and said I’m interested in the new Q8. We scheduled a time to test drive, worked in the details on my A6 trade-in, and I couldn’t me happier with my new ride!! Thanks Walter! More

"Richard Gouhin of Audi far exceeded my expectations." Incredible experience at Audi Matthews. This was my first time looking at the Audi. I had a Mercedes to trade in and was torn between another Mercedes or the Audi Q5. Wil Vinson the general manager was first to greet me. He introduced me to Richard Gouhin, a senior brand specialist. He was a wealth of knowledge, knew everything about the Audi, was patient, never pushy and had a great sense of humor. I was introduced to the Audi family, from the service manager to the technical Ambassador. Customer service blew me away. The rest is history. I bought a new Audi Q5. Sleek, gorgeous and drives like no other luxury vehicle. No comparison to Mercedes. I love this car. Thank you Richard and everyone else at Audi who made this experience story worthy. I previously owned a Volvo XC 90, and was leaning towards buying another one, but also wanted to check out the Audi Q7 because the reviews were just as good. As my husband and I entered the dealership, Richard came over and introduced himself, he is very experienced and knows a lot about all cars, he made us very comfortable and let me test drive the car I was interested and gave me a couple of choices. I was thinking we would just do a quick test drive, but no Richard really wanted me to get the feel of the car by driving on the interstate, around town in traffic so I could see all the wonderful features it had to Offer. I love my new car, and look forward to doing more business with Richard In the future. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience and making it so easy, we love the car!
