Whether a prescheduled service appointment or an emergency drop-by to check the air in a tire, I was always welcomed and generously accommodated by my friend Jimmy behind the counter. I wanted to do business locally for my new car purchase (having loved my 10-year old Subaru as so accurately represented in the advertisements--including the dogs,) and, was thrilled to receive an optimum offer for the purchase of my new Forester from my local dealer. Sonja Anderson guided me through the process of test-drives, accessories and options with her professional knowledge, courtesy, and patience. And, shared my tears of remorse and joy as she finished emptying out my trade-in--having personally shifted my old license tags in the bitter cold. I am thrilled with the new car and look forward to seeing my neighborhood Subaru family as I continue with the established outstanding service (and excellent coffee bar). He was perhaps the most professional, kindest and most generous person we have dealt with in some sixty years of car buying. He knew the car and its attributes very well; he was willing to spend an inordinate amount of his time answering our questions and taking us through all the details of a technologically very complicated vehicle, even though this extended beyond closing time. And he was very sincere in inviting us back for more tutorials after we've had some experience with our new Outback. Also we can't stop this review without mentioning Billy Sadtler, the general manager of sales. It happened that he was actually our first contact and stayed with the process from beginning to end, helping sort of some details, even getting the service manager involved for some technical questions, and making sure we were completely satisfied. Since he had such a good experience with Roy then I went back to learn about options for leasing a Forester. It was my first lease and Roy did great to explain everything in detail. He consistently expressed patience and understanding no matter how many questions I had. It took me over a month to make my decision, but when I finally did the rest of the team was great as well. They all worked with me to ensure I was getting the vehicle and deal that I wanted. I did not feel pressured to purchase things I didn't want, but they all made sure I got what I needed. Stephanie Dewey was my sales rep and she did an excellent job of guidin I just picked up my new 2017 Forester last night after trading in my 2013 BRZ. Stephanie Dewey was my sales rep and she did an excellent job of guiding me through the process without a hiccup. She and with everyone else I dealt with during the experience were very helpful and considerate as to what I was looking for in a vehicle. I never felt pushed into purchasing anything that I didn't need, which is HUGE in my book, lol! I plan on keeping my Forester for a long time, but if I was ever planning on buying another Subaru in the near future, I would gladly do business with Stephanie and the rest of the folks at Annapolis Subaru again! More
