For various reasons, the process of buying a car is more complex and tedious than most retail purchases despite the dealership's efforts to improve transparency, efficiency, and general customer service. The effort was there but it still took a while to navigate negotiations, the options, finances, and other details. A return visit to review the new car features, expectations of the service department, and general information went quite well. If in the market for a vehicle, we'd recommend considering Lithia Hyundai.

Again, not able to talk to anybody directly. I called the number and I'm pretty sure it was a computer program answering and asking if I wanted a response by text message. When Hyundai had my car for the three or four weeks this Fall, I would leave text messages at the number provided on the answering system and never get a response. I would leave voicemails and never get a response. The two staff that I spoke to weekly - Christian and Blayke - are awesome employees. I would trust them as my employees. The only way I could get an answer or response about the work on my car was to drive to Hyundai and talk to someone in customer service. The first time I came by was a person at the counter I had never seen before. She had no clue what she was doing. She told me that a female supervisor (I dont' remember the name) would get in touch with me. That never happened. I came back two or three days later and spoke to Christian. Basically, I had to drive to Hyundai three times to find out what was going on with my car. It was a 4WD Sensor and I was told twice that Service Managers in the Regional Office had to be contacted and call Anchorage back to know what to do. Kind of hard to believe. I was able to borrow a family members car for one week, but I had to rent a car for two full weeks. That hit the wallet pretty hard. So, yes I am disappointed in the service communication and work at Anchorage Lithia Hyundai. I don't know your answer to the problem or how you can resolve it.
