My name is Bob Havey, and my level of service to my clients only starts with the first car I assist you with. In my 21 years in the car business, I have sold several different makes and find Lexus to be the best. I have attended over 50 Lexus and Toyota classes, which is 160 hours of training, to keep me Master Certified in sales. Born and raised in Vermont, I have a Mechanical Engineering degree from Vermont Tech and have been a Hybrid Specialist for Lexus and Toyota, since the first Toyota hybrids came to the U.S. in 1999. My wife Joan is a Columbus native, which is why in 2004 we chose to leave Vermont and venture back to Columbus. Joan and I have four children and three grandchildren. Joan works for Ohio State and we are huge Buckeye fans! The Germain family and I make a good match, with integrity and honesty being our first priority. We have worked with Bob for many years due to his knowledge, courtesy and professionalism! He has always gone the extra mile to make our experience wonderful. I know Bob just shakes when he sees me come onto the lot at Easton because he has walked me thru the use of the hands free phone no less that five times (he probably trained the new expert I have talked to lately). What has really endeared Karen & I to Bob is on the last purchase for Karen (ES 350) Bob and I worked out a plan to fool Karen into thinking Bob could not find the exact color that Karen wanted but had a used one that he wanted Karen to see! We arrived at Germain and of course the used car had just been sold about an hour before but he had several other colors he asked Karen to look at-so we went out to the "new car prep room" and Karen saw the car she wanted and Bob said is this the right color and Karen said yes it was and Bob said well someone will drive that car home tonight and that person is you! Karen got tears in her eyes and did not believe Bob until she looked at me and I am grinning from one ear to the other ear and shaking my head yes! Suspect it was so I would not want that option since they didn't have any cars with it in stock. Also had salesman and sales manager insist I needed a major repair at 100,000 miles on a possible trade-in. In fact, the part they said I needed to replace did not even exist on the year/model I had. Suspect this was ploy to justify their low ball trade in price. More

After a short amount of time had passed, I was eager to test drive the new Lexus CT200h Premium. After being told that they had none in stock - I suddenly recieved and email that said there were 3 nearby. test drive the new Lexus CT200h Premium. After being told that they had none in stock - I suddenly recieved and email that said there were 3 nearby. I immediately jumped on making sure I got on the one of the sales guy's calendars. Thankfully, Mr. Havey took care of us, despite feeling discouraged at times. Seeing the car, driving it, and Mr. Havey's overall help with everything, I am glad I chose Germain Lexus of Easton! My partner and I are happy now that we walked in when we did and we did business there, rather than at another location. From taking care of us when we first walked in, to staying late to deliver the car when the deal was finally complete, Mr. Havey was there. The following day, on the drive to my parents – I thought about the process of buying a new car and happily satisfied, I am glad that I met Mr. Havey. I love the my new car, my new Hybrid – I love that it is comfortable and most of all, I am glad I get to step things up, saving the planet from harmful emissions and on gas! I emailed Mr. Havey Monday morning, we'd bought the car Friday night, thanking him for all he'd done. I also said, "No one ever wants to sit around waiting for their customers in a store to finish shopping, so we both appreciated you staying over and delivering our new CT!" I also said, "thanks for all you’ve done and all the service I hope you’ll provide in years to come." If it hadn't been for Germain Lexus of Easton and having those cars there, I wouldn't have made a purchase...and I wouldn't have met Mr. Havey! Thank you! More
