The bad is really everything else. Bob Loquercio of Bob Loquercio Auto Group is typical Italiano mob boss culture that permeates the auto business across Chicagoland. This trickles down into his dealerships, and, unfortunately, his staff. Bob K is a tool and has a counter ready for every argument you make, so don't even bother with him. Sam Kim made a good point. Why should they bother selling to me through my credit union when a sucker will finance through their department that very weekend. Can't argue with that! They move a lot of cars and there's a lot of dumb, desperate people out there. And what's with this VS2000? Even the very name sounds like a scam. Because it is. They push this on every vehicle they sell to make up for their competitive internet pricing. I intended to buy a “Certified” Rav4 with nothing else tacked on besides tax, title, and doc fee. Guess what I saw on the sales invoice? VS2000. With an amount they originally told me was the cost to certify the vehicle, which now suddenly wasn't included with the price. Really guys? You think I'm that easy to fool? I can’t even remember the figure, but it doesn’t matter. Whatever number they put there is pure profit for them, so look very carefully before signing. They also have a $400 doc fee for temp plates/registration, which is absurd. This brings me to their finance manager, AJ. Who has a face that screams con man. I mean, just look at his photo online. It’s true what they say. Physiognomy is real. There are too many other Toyota dealerships in the area to even bother with these clowns. Go somewhere else. More

The WORST most Unprofessional employees!! EXTREMELY nasty people. I live over 1000 miles away and was inquiring about a used vehicle ...I originally talked to a lady by the name of lisa intern EXTREMELY nasty people. I live over 1000 miles away and was inquiring about a used vehicle ...I originally talked to a lady by the name of lisa internet manager who had really nasty sounding unapproachable tone over the phone. I hung up and called back to talk with someone else and they got Bob the general sales manager who kept interrupting me while I was talking and was extremely debative and unsympathetic to my concerns. He also was attempting to make up stories about the reason for my concerns and accused me of asking them to "hold a vehicle" which that never came out of my mouth. I asked the general sales manager to forward me more pictures of the vehicle for me to review and instead of him honoring my request he got nosy and asked me how I was planning getting it since I don't live nearby and refused to forward me photos. He had a very sarcastic excuse saying "there are 15 photos online, what else is there to see?" I hung up and then called back and talked to the receptionist and attempted to make a complaint about this service to the store manager or the owner and said she was going to get me to the owner's office but instead she forwarded me to a sales rep who imitated himself out to be a manager and claimed to be Bob's boss. He was just as nasty and lied about himself and said I was not good to do business with..? I called back the last time and asked the receptionist once more to get me to the owner's office and instead some sales rep got on the phone and refused to identify himself and then said for me to go into the dealer if I had any issues....Yea well im over 1000 miles away.....do your job and get me who i request! I have the entire conversations AUDIO RECORDED....so just in case the owner see's this ...you know what to do....I HIGHLY dont recommend this place....EXTREMELY sketchy and dishonest! If they sound like this on the phone...well then they probably are.... More

Dealer did not properly transfer title and register plates I purchased a 2018 Rav4 xle used in April. The next. day I called the dealer left messages for the sales manager no calls were returned So I had to go there. The gave be a copy of the application form and said they could not reprint it and it would come in the mail. A month later the form never shows up. I check the Illinois sec. of state details , the plates and title were never transferred. I call the dealer again, leaving messages for GM, sales manager, finance manager and finance rep.. No calls were returned. I go there on Saturday in June explain the situation spend 3 hours and in only gets processed after I buy new plates. The finance guy had messed up the original paper work. The whole experience was the worst They have no customer service do not buy there. They would have never processed the paper work. More

We were assured by the sales team they would not only price match any other offers from other dealers, but they would BEAT the quote. We came in and the sales rep and manager clearly didnt accknowlege the quote and were looking for excuses not to price match. Bob the manager kept pointing at the quote's terms and conditions and said the quote does the include additional accessories. The funny part is even Elgins online quote says the same thing about not including additional accessories and its 1k higher. Avoid them at all costs..waste of time More

Atrocious First of all, I was approved through Roadloans. When I went to see a car and of course loved it, Bob K came out and "congratulated" me on my new purch First of all, I was approved through Roadloans. When I went to see a car and of course loved it, Bob K came out and "congratulated" me on my new purchase. I explained to him that my wife wanted to see the car first. He said "Take it home." That sounded strange to me. I called her and she refused to allow that - understandably. I told him that we would be back the next day. Sure enough, the salesman Marlon P was not there and the new guy Jeff demanded a credit app. I told him that I had pre-approval through Roadloans and Bob K said that they need a credit app by law and that they are not a Roadloans dealer. I showed him evidence to the contrary online and contacted Roadloans to confirm it - which they did. He then told me that it is their decision to honor Roadloans terms or not. I was approved with no down payment and explained that I did not have a down payment and also told them everything about my trade in - including the payoff. He told me that it was basically impossible for the car that I wanted. He then tried to pressure me into buying... A brand new Corolla. I refused. Unethical and ridiculous. More

2017 Toyota Sienna XLE and AWS with weak Engin power In 2015 I bought brand new Toyota Sienna 2015, XLE AWD from Elgin Toyota. I was received warmly and the sales lady was very kind. Toyota Sienna 2015 with all the options was an awesome Vehicle and great selection. It had an excellent pick up and a very powerful engine since it was top of the line. The sales lady was very nice and took care all of our needs. In January 2017, I received a call from same dealership. They wanted to know if I wanted to swap my Toyota Sienna 2015 with 2017 with no additional cost. I thought it was too good to be true. I went to the dealership with my wife and I was told that the new Toyota Sienna had three new features that will come with no additional cost for XLE & AWD. I was very happy but when I drove 2017 Sienna, I noticed the pickup was not there. Every time I was pressing gas the RPM was going up to 4 and vehicle was not picking up speed like the 2015. I was told since it was brand new vehicle that is why it was like that, over the time it will get better. Since I had very good experience before, I trusted the salesman as well. After driving it for 4800 miles the light for “Maintenance required soon” (oil change) was showing up. I was astonished because for 2015, I was told that I needed to change oil every 10,000 miles. I informed the manager when I took the vehicle for oil change but he said maybe they need to update the vehicle system through connecting the computer and update the system. They did just that but I have not seen any difference and have driven the Sienna for over 1000 miles now. I was very much disappointed with this salesman because he lied. Before signing up the paper, when I was in the process of getting the 2017, Salesman was keep asking me why I needed XLE and AWD. He asked me why I don’t like LE and front wheel drive. I told him that my wife will be driving Sienna to pick up and drop kids at school. So in snow AWD have better grip and drive better. I wish the sales person would have told me the truth and let me decide if I wanted to get 2017 with weaker engine with better options or keep my 2015 with excellent engine and less options. I believe honesty is the best policy, that this dealership lacks. More

Avoid this place at any cost. Save your hard earned money. Just bought a 2017 Corolla LE from this dealership today. We agreed on a final price after a test drive. During the test drive the salesman pointed out features such as Michelin tires and rear bumper protection option on the car. When I got home discovered that tires were not Michelin but Toyo and there was no rear bumper protector on the car. I came to realization that they had sold me a different car than the one I test drove. There was also oil spot on the passenger door which I didn't notice until close inspection. I called the dealership with in an hour and they acknowledged that they sold me a different car, however they never told me they swapped the car on me during transaction. The manager (Bob) refused to make things right and told me I already got a great deal. They will not be doing anything. What a difference few hours make. Their behavior changed 180. Avoid this place at any cost !!!Buy from this dealership at your own risk !!! More

Way too pushy and phony; typical car shark. Went in to look during the factory sale. I didn't disclose I had other been to other dealers for prices. Decided against it, especially after finding tons of nightmare reviews on Yelp. And like here, most all negative reviews are given a scripted, generic answer by a Jenni Tuton. Clear she is assigned to comb the Yelp reviews to do damage control. More
